I’m old enough to be your father and I must say you restore my faith in the future of our country. You’re work ethic is admirable, you are obviously a loving husband and father, you respect those professionals who came before you, you’re sufficiently confident in your own ability to recognize talent in others and you have a great sense of humor. On top of all that you’re a very skilled professional and an excellent role model. God bless you and your family.

ROFL - Reminds me of the 1st time I ever used a floor buffer. I was in the Air Force and was assigned to buff a large classroom, Sergeant never asked if I knew how to use one, no instructions, just said, "I want the floor to look like a F*ing Mirror when I come back." and then left.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge on KZbin, along with the glimpses into your life beyond the job. I subscribed to your channel in 2015. At first, I watched your videos bc I wanted to do my own crown and base, then I never stopped watching them bc you’re an awesome human being with an awesome family. You’ve come so far and it’s an honor to see all the growth and hard work pay off. My favorite project is the wainscoting in your new house and the time and detail you put into it to help your subscribers. Just bought the Dewaulkee shirt and even some of the tools you use (stud finder, angle finder, etc.), and my house is looking pretty sharp thanks to your knowledge. Keep it going my man. Sending love from STL.

I know it’s style biting but I’ve followed your footsteps in many ways. I don’t have a father figure to teach me some of the things I’ve learned, but it’s great channels like yours that have helped fill that void with positive information. I appreciate the time you take to make the content on your channel. I recently moved to Austin TX from Albuquerque and I’m ready to create a legacy out here in the home building business. Thank you so much my friend

A few years ago we were rebuilding a sun room and converting it to a dining room. I was doing the interior while others were doing the exterior. I never attempted any type of trim work so I knew I needed to learn something. Boy did I ever! I can honestly say I have watched hundreds of hours of your videos. Crown molding, how to trim a doorway, trim a window, base molding and so much more. I can say that people have looked at the end result and thought that it was done by a professional. (Just being nice!). I always tell them KZbin! When they ask the channel name it’s yours! Be proud of your work! You deserve it. Don’t let your ego consume you though. You are on your way to being a success in business and family!

Happy Fourth of July To you and you’re family, thank you for your time spent in the service to us. Also thank you for your service to this industry, ive followed along for years leaning in the wisdom of great carpenters such as yourself and others i have discovered in youtube due to your recommendations. Your humble attitude and approach to our trade is what helps me learn and grow as a carpenter. I cannot say i am self taught because i really have relied on good men like you putting out incredibly well produced content and trade knowledge. I cannot thank you enough and your family for being patient with the amount of time it must take to edit videos. Side bar, the truck smashing the fence is my favorite clip!!! Truck stuff!

I cased out two sets of double doors in my own house because the plaster work was horrible using the pocket screw method I seen on your channel and put a three inch architrave (casing as it’s known in North America) around it and then installed a six inch 18mm thick MDF skirting board and used the grinder and flap disc method for the copes which I also saw on your channel and it looks great. Learned a lot watching your channel keep her going. All the way from Ireland.
