I just got into building. Built a Tillotson 212 to a stroked 223 hemi with 318 lift. From block to rod and valve to piston clearancing...I tip my hat to you my man. This is a whole new level of building here. Childs play is what I'm doing! I'm still prob of what I've made though. I'll be watching and hope you can get up some new content! the 212cc scene is blowing up! We need you around more!

Damn bro that’s a PIECE OF ART!! 👏🏼. Paul nobodies explaining and doing videos on getting 1/2” vent tubes and where to put the check valves and why. I can’t find it anywhere on you tube and you are the only guy making 1/8” NOT to 1/2” barb fittings (thank you!) and now I want to know how to hook it up. Or even better show us what entails in getting that AN-6 quick release fitting installed in an ARC cover?? They come from ARC with 1/8” not with no wall clearance to upsize to 1/4” npt. Could you give us a 5 min video on what and why?

@@paulskartslifan4206 all i need someone to mill me a piston but stock are flat top so good while it lasts till it blows. i just blew the 301 i was working on. spun bearing but i gotta rebuild it cause the 301s are way more relible than the 420 i have and the 212 not as much power without a new cam

Roughly at what lower level do you recommend welding the extra bracing on the block? I am about to start a micro squirt efi big block build. Once it is running good I’m going to build a manifold and mount a small turbo right off the head. I see some brand engines have more bracing from the factory than a predator, just not sure it would be enough. Your heads with welded intake tubes look great, I’m sure it would make the turbo big block extra spicy!

Do you think ceramic crank bearings or stick with the steel ones?

On these I’d stay with the genuine Honda bearings from Japan. There great ! The ceramic ones I have seen have been so expensive but it’s been a while since I really looked. If you can get one less than $75 I’d say do it no questions but the ones I saw before where all over $100 and closer to the $200 mark. I just don’t see enough case bearing failures to justify that expense.

Thanks man .. that was an awesome reaction. If you’re running a pulse pump you can pick it up in a few places. I think the best pulse is found in this order Intake manifold Valve cover Case / block It’s good to run a Pcv valve in the system to create more vacuum and don’t have any open vents running out from the block or head. It’s all in your control. Just like a 1000 hp car. As long as you don’t floor it you’ll be just fine ! But when you have some friends over and want to impress someone in a race .. the power is there

I need it in my life 💯 For the intake tube- could your guy do a version with an injector bung, and possibly a flange for a throttle body instead of the slip-over hose clamp connection? I'd want to run something like this on EFI that has a wideband and EGT sensor support, for closed-loop fuel control at wide open throttle... Plus I'm confident I could use one of my spare Smartcoils and take advantage of full ignition control... I'm already drooling at how this thing would sound with a quality stepped header with a properly sized Helmholtz resonator to increase scavenging 😍😍😍... Could also run a small crankcase vacuum pump, or just an exhaust venturi for the PCV.
