We need more videos like this! Even though I’m pretty much a beginner at plush making this was very informative. It’s always so interesting to see how different kinds of materials are implemented into a plush and how much thought goes into that even though the details are not obvious at first. Keep it up! :)

Thank you for making these videos. It's so helpful to be able to see your thought process and all the decision making that goes with making a one off plush like this. I imagine it'll be cool in the future too, to be able to look back on these vlogs and see how your process has changed over time!

Ooh! Would love to see a tutorial on that darting idea. I really, really suck at ladder stitching but I'm not quite sure how the dart works, it just looks like a slit in the fabric to me >.< Edit: I really, really love these videos Makeshift! It really ... I don't even know honestly. I just really love hearing your process, your failures, the things you try. Ugh color drama! All of it!

Hi! I hope you get to read this. Do you have any tips on making minky flat and stiff, essentially preventing it from bending? I'm planning to do it on the inside part of open mouths.

couple ideas: 1. you can apply fusible stabilizer to the back side of the minky. this will stop it from stretching. 2. you can line the open mouth with something like foam, buckram, cardboard, etc.
