To clear things up and avoid any more ignorant comments... By "KZbin for the rest of my life" I'm more referring to following the path that I'm on rather than a traditional career path. Not solely KZbin. Right now it has been KZbin->clothing company, and I'm sure something cool is coming next. I have a lot of other business ideas that I can explore once I have more time and am done with school- those who've been with me for a while know I'm always up to something :) But my plan is to make a lot of money while I'm young and invest it while I'm young so it has time for that interest to compound. Hope that clears up what probably sounded like a very naive thing to say!

As someone with several degrees I can tell you now it's only important if you think it is important. What does really matter though is how well you interact and network with people. If going to University or indeed having a KZbin channel takes your networking to the next level then yes it is absolutely worth the effort. Adam LZ has killer networking skills - thats how he manages to do what he does with success.

Not to be that guy, or anything, but shifting at the designated redline is good. It's true that the peak power is like 500 rpm before, but shifting takes time on a manual. the 500 rpm is enough for when you shift into gear, the engine will be closer to the peak power.

Adam you should start a scholarship fund, I paid my way through undergrad and I know how crazy hard it is to both work and go to school full time. You're incredibly lucky to have been able to attend a university at little to no cost. A scholarship/grant, of whatever amount, is extremely helpful to college students who are struggling financially and I think starting a fund would look good on you.
