I build all my g scale bridges and trestle bases from. Concrete and scaling like this. G scale trains get really heavy though so some serious consideration in strength is needed. My bridges all hold a minimum of 150lbs(me) before I’ll let them out in the layout. I just never know who may step on one. My layout is very much a work in progress but stuff like this is always inspiring
@jackthediscoverer3 жыл бұрын
G scale train only runs on 45mm gauge track, just remember. Gauge 1 of 1/32 scale is the standard gauge garden railway size and g scale of 1/28 or lower scale is narrow gauge size scale If the model railway bridge with concrete doesn’t help then built in bridge support with mild steel to act as bridge beams to support a garden scale train

Seldom acknowledged fact; the human brain doesn't actually forget things, it's stores them away subconsciously. You, like a computer, can overtime get your brain so full of stupid things, that you begin to get confused and forget or mistake things. Realizing that, knowing how important brainspace is for cognitive function, it makes watching content like this in your down time much more satisfying than watching a lot of what is on KZbin. This guy must be a legend in hos town or village! I don't know much about concrete construction of dams and bridges but I would imagine he is building the miniature versions in much the same way the real ones were built....with regard to the steps, rebar and concrete. In other words, he could fabricate many of the concrete components in his garage then do assembly on the site. But he builds everything on the site in what looks like the proper order as the full scale versions. That railroad bridge was impressive as well.
@ScarabChris2 жыл бұрын
I was right. He did it just like they built the real bridge with the towers and suspension cables to hold it up while it was being built. I had to google pictures of the construction. LOL
