I have a similar project as calendar picture frames, the biggest part of cost is the screen. But under 100 is possible if you fabricate your frame.

@@PuTTYMySSH The startupfile.py I did not end up using. Instead on the Pi in the: /home/pi/.config/lxsession/LXDE-pi directory I edited the autostart file and added: @chromium-browser --noerrordialogs --kiosk 192.168.8.3:81/ui3.htm?maximize=1
