I think you should have placed more emphasis on how dancing rune weapon mimics abilities and when to cycle cooldowns. Deathknight tanks are pretty strait forward yes. But if you abuse their short cooldowns and really take advantage of their mastery a good deathknight tank can go entire fights (relevant content too) completely avoiding damage. PvP I'm still learning and I love your guides for but I'd go into a little more detail for the next tanking one you put out. (Although this is definitely more than enough for most to pick up and play in most situations lol)

you actually replied to somebody so i wont be mean. Just a suggestion, do use taunts, the very beginning is the burst period and plagues with blood boil and heart strike isnt enough. if you can taunt 2 of the enemies and death strike the other 2 that is probably the best you can hope for. I am mainly thinking of dark shaman because when i was MT i needed to taunt the 2 wolves and death strike the one i was meant to tank.

i tanked soo 5 hc bosses in dps gear (4-5 hc items) all reforged to mastery :D i didnt take much dmg either it was insane how OP blood is! I tanked the rest of the bosses on normal in that gear because i was practicing to be main tank in guild.

Hey, im no expert on DK´s , but one thing i recall is that expertise is a pvp stat, it has no place in pve, hit does aboeslutely however. just thought i would point that out. im just stating what i recall here, its been a while since i left wow, but i played since the beta in Vanilla and all the way to the end of mists where sub´s became so low that nobody talked in cities any more other then guild invite spam and guild adverts. this is a copy paste from wowwiki : xpertise (also known as Exp and Ept) is an attribute introduced in Patch 2.3.0. One point of expertise decreases the chance that melee attacks made by the player will be dodged or parried by 0.25%. At level 80, every 7.688690185546875 points of expertise rating grant 1 expertise. notice that it says decreases chance that melee attacks made by player.. , that means that it does not affect non player characters aka bosses and mobs.I just thought i would point that out.

Yea. You need expertise for pve. Bosses can dodge and parry. Tanks should have 15% expertise and 7.5% hit....until wod. Dps need 7.5% hit and expertise because bosses can dodge when your behind them but not parry. 7.5% exp ensures no boss will dodge when behind but if your in front of boss ie. Tanks they can still parry

Hingez412 Prot Pal need 15% expertise,Blood DK need only 7.5% expertise and 7.5% hit. Death Strike and Rune Strike cannot be parried,and most other skills are actually spells which you will have 15% hit because expertise convert to hit for spells.only loss of not having 15% expertise is Heart Strikes,Plague Strikes and white attacks can get parried,but they are minor role,not like If your Death Strike get parried,dodged or missed,you can die,so other stats outweight expertise.

I don't agree with the part of geming stamina, because of the way bloodshield works we are not as dependend of stamina as other tanks. yeah, you need a basic level of stamina, but after that I gem strength and mastery all the way

Blood tap is stronger then runic corruption but it takes lots of adjustment

I still think runic corruption is better for overall rune uptime If you get a proc then its 100% faster runes, so If you have 3 off cd that's 3 runes in 3 seconds, and it can proc twice in a row, so thats about 6 runes in 6 seconds. Wheres it takes much longer to build up blood taps, and that will only regenerate the single rune, whereas corruption will half the speed it takes of three tunes. I've tested it, you get more death strikes and quicker blood shield buffs overall.

Yeah i dont like blood tap either to be honest with you . Having to manage that in a fight just isnt worth it in my opinion for the very slight increase it may give if you use them correctly.

how did that help anyone? im a blood dk and this was not usefull at all sorry but if you had more detail on the attacks and defences it might have helped.
