Eric, thank you for putting this series together. Nice job explaining the proper methods of acrylic modeling. I wish I saw your videos 3-4 weeks ago when making acrylic parts for our boat. Hope to have some time in the near future to remake the parts the proper way using your techniques.

As easy as it looks... This is a nice Task for my Apprentices/Intern "Make me a Perfect 30x30x30 Cube" You can tell a lot by how much work one put in to simple tasks

Great advice on always using a sanding block. Another tip when sanding is to be gentle on those final layers, you're trying to get a nice finish and you want to sneak up on it rather than risk biting into the paint at those final steps.

What is the tune playing in the intro? Used to hear it back in the day. Just can't flush it out or my memory banks, it's right on the tip of my tongue.

So a quick question how would you fill the cracks left on the polished cube ? Would taking more time during construction help ?

Yes, saw cut parts will make all the parts the same, avoiding gaps

There is a clear Gel Type Glue that cures by UV... Acryfix 30-60min in the Sun or a UV Lamp As it Cures it basicly turns in to Clear Acryl

There is acrylic resin you can by in salon supply stores as well, but tinting it could be hard

@@EricStrebel but small gaps don't really show if you fill it clear and sand it flush... You have to look with a magnifying glass XD Maybe it is different with backlit stuff

Hey there Eric! You didn't link the spot putty, can you help with that please?

Hi Eric - Super, *super* useful, as always, thanks! Two questions: Do you have a link for the first polishing pad you used in the drill press? You included a link for the white foam one, but not the blue/white one. Second, do you know of any source for the purple 3M polishing compound in smaller quantities? It’d take me a couple of lifetimes to go through a $125 gallon jug of it :-0 (Or do you have a recommended alternative that comes in smaller containers?)

Funny how when you use the router on any color acrylic, that the chips are mostly white.
