I know it was an accident, but I cant get over how cool that box looks. reminds me of when the Xbox 360 came out and Microsoft was talking about how they designed it to look like it was gasping. this was in contrast to the original which was expanding from the inside.

Ugh I have been using a laser cutter for years and I have never done the wet paper trick, you learn something new every day.

There's a free add-in for Fusion 360 called Dxf4LaserCutting which creates a DXF from a selected face, with kerf adjustment (holes a bit smaller, edges a bit larger).

Well, I do have to agree with you on that even though it wasn't intended it does look pretty neat, I doubt I could have made that if I tried

Does cutting EVA foam not give off chlorine gas?
@EricStrebel5 жыл бұрын
Not that I am aware of
@jonlewis50635 жыл бұрын
There's no chlorine in EVA, so it can't possibly off-gas chlorine.

You might know this, but there is a laser cutting 'tool' in the CAM environment and there is a DXF post processor. You gain the possibility to add tabs, lead in and lead out, kerf and it's connected to your model. here is a post I made on the subject on reddit: www.reddit.com/r/ChineseLaserCutters/comments/b793x5/i_improved_the_dxf_post_processor_for_fusion_360/

Ahem! Singular is Radius, plural is Radii. (Ray-dee-eye.) There is no such word as “radiuses.”
