Awesome. At that rate could do 4 houses a day at $10,000 a house. $40k a day aint bad coin in Australia. Gotta love 30 years of non stop housing price growth.

What I do with my boxes and angle heads is put them in a 5 gallon bucket with transmission fluid. I rinse the transmission fluid off before I use them they last over 10 years still work like new. Only have to change blades every once in a while had to change it on my 12 inch box.

Thanks very much Jason. "Yeah the pump you have to bend down to fill up and it's one more thing to wash out." Quoted from Craig, the guy filling up the tape pro flat box in this video. Haha. Me personally I do a lot of small stuff and I barely get the chance to pull my boxes out so it's not a problem in the world for me.

when you use your pump everyday its easy to leave mud in it and wash outside or leave in water bucket, would save you $$, not a hassle at all and you can fill your box in 5 seconds

G'day mates. Nice video of some mudding. If this is supposed to be a "how to" video, could you guys maybe explain to the folks watching what's going on and describe the process a bit? Also, as many folks have already pointed out, a pump for the skim boxes would help out tremendously also, if you guys use a bazooka, you could use the pump to fill that too! You would just need to get the goose neck that attaches to the pump. Nice box work though. Butt joints always used to give me the most trouble, especially the ones low to the ground. Can you guys do a video on proper box work with the skim box and angle box?
@Maxkil
@Maxkil 6 жыл бұрын
Haha g'day mate. We don't use the angle box too much. Been trying to get some more footage of this... Yeah I don't explain things much I know. I need to work on that as well. Also we don't use bazooka at all. Will try to conjure up some film of that . Thanks again
@Tman2217
@Tman2217 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, mate. I know the bazooka can be a bit pricey so most folks watching might not have the money on hand to buy one or the pump with the gooseneck for that matter. But if you guys are doing a big job and like to work fast, running a bazooka makes it right quick. A roller and glazer help with that, but they too can be pricey. Cheers!

Always ceiling joins first, now you are going to bash into the walls looking upwards. No thought process boys, have a think about your sequence, and service your boxes weekly. I know it's a 'spec home' thrash, but leaning onto the box with your body weight at an angle, is the way for walls. Using leverage with the pole for ceilings, see sawing one hand against the other. Your wrists and elbows would be hurting i bet? Intelligence beats brawn, and a far superior job...every time!
