Blitz does not despise Stolas. If he did he would not have saved him from Striker. As shown in his hallucination he sees Stolas as a higher being then him(Stolas was shown sitting on a golden throne ontop of golden stairs being faned by two Blitzes sitting above Blitz signifying his higher position) and he does not see themselves having a genuine relationship as he belives he is nothing more then a plaything to Stolas thus he does not want to get too close to Stolas as he fears that Stolas will eventually leave him too like everyone else did.

I also think Blitz despises himself more than a little. He definitely wants to be the dragon or switch in a Moxxie-Millie threesome, in which the other two are *utterly uninterested* , which is why this was the episode I got a bit fed up with him even while I felt sorry for him. I know real people move forward and backslide all the time, but since shows seem to all be moving to a much shorter 6 to 8 ep format instead of the 23 to 26 episodes we used to get (not a complaint) and with the honestly really massive progress Blitz seemed to make in ep 6, I felt disappointed, though to be fair, with this rewatch I find myself pitying him again. But the efforts to insert himself into Not His Marriage are uncomfortable now. In early episodes things like his pushpin/alligator clip sex toys *shudder* were funny, but I hope this gag doesn't carry over to season 2. Maybe he needs to work on being alone healthily for a while (she said, about a show set in actual Hell 🤣)

@@McCammalot I mean, we've never actually heard Millie's 2-cents on that idea. However, she's also not the type to agree or even push something like that if Millie feels Moxxie is uninterested (which he's expressed multiple times). Also, I don't think Blitzo's character has back slid at all. He's consistently pushed his way in every episode so far, but what it does show is Moxxie putting his foot down. In the beginning Moxxie would have let Blitzo push himself in between them after a bit of arguing before backing down, but this time he didn't do that. It shows a lot of how Moxxie has grown in their dynamic.

As mentioned last week in Blitz hallutination part Blitz wants intimacy just like what Moxxie and Millie have. Yet he does not understand it but also craves it. He tries to barge in on their relationship to try and feel or experience some of that and also like you pointed out he hates being alone as when he is alone there is nothing stopping him from thinking about all his life failures.

Well said. He basically has an easier time being a third wheel or passive addon than being in the driver seat of his relationships. He follows Moxxie and Millie around and adopted Loona when she was almost an adult. His most "stable" relationships are those that he is able to backseat IMO.

Blitzo and Verosika, these two had a actual functioning relationship, but then Blitzo dipped for some reason. 2 photos of Fizzaroli and Blitzo, childhood bestfriends turn into probably lovers but then a heavy crash and burn. And finally, Blitzo's twin sister Barbie Wire and their mother, probably "Tilla" > Octavia (Stolas' daughter) being with her mother (Stella) somewhat implies a divorce between Stolas and Stella. (not yet confirmed, but its what people believe) Takeaways: >Stoals and Blitzo do care for each other, but they care more of how people look at them. Last episode, Blitzo confirms that Stolas is his safe space, his savior, hoping that he wouldn't just be a tool. But the Asmodeus comes and points out things about Stolas. Stolas being the pampered rich kid doesn't really know how to handle the consequences of their actions, so when he gets called out, he gets embarrassed and caves in, in the judgment of other people. This action affected Blitzo as it would confirm the fear in his head, he is just a tool, and Stolas is embarrassed to have a sexual relationship with him. I would recommend reacting to Sarcastic Chorus' video regarding the topic of Blitzo x Stolas. Really gives a good insight as to what is most probably happening in Stolas and Blitzo's lives. The title of the video is "How Helluva Boss Episode 7 BROKE Blitzø X Stolas" If you want to feel even sadder than you are now, I would like to ask you to react to PARANOiD DJ's song about Stolas. It's called " 'Just Look My Way' (Stolas' Lament) ". If you do read this, please react to this song, react to it just like how you reacted to "Addict"

Informative notes indeed. I would like to dispute Asmodeus being a hypocrite, though; while the persona we've seen certainly comes off as prioritizing raw, physical lust over any other form of attachment, given his close affections when Fizzarolli is injured (and his having made no attempt to hide what he was doing while in full view of his entire club) and the fact that Ozzie's is a venue specifically tailored to couples (and probably polyamorous groups, but the main point is that one can't enter without at least one partner present), it's likely that persona, and the song, were simply tailored to encourage lust first and foremost within the venue.

@@gremeleu596 I get a lot of my notes and info from Cartoon Universe. He explained something about hellhounds there and why they're even lower than imps, I can't remember why exactly, but I do remember hellhounds being one step lower than imps.

He was also the Genie in the Broadway production of Aladdin. But yeah, I thought it was kinda odd that he would play Vortex. It felt like he was wasted in that role. But it turns out that is not the role he was specifically hired for, and Azmodeus is DEFINITELY perfect for him, as he had totally proven.

If you want to see the moment that broke Blitz it was when Stolas covered his face with the menu. It was a reflexive sign of embarrassment. That one moment was all it took to confirm ALL of Blitz's insecurities. He doesn't believe people can be happy with him in their life (all the photos in his house that he ripped himself out of). When Stolas showed shame in Blitz it told him that they could never be equals, he was just a play thing Stolas should be ashamed of.

The sad thing is, as someone who deals with clinical depression myself, Stolas’ reaction in this scene will only serve to drive Blitz deeper into his depression and build stronger emotional walls, when you perceive everything around you only getting worse, with no possible signs of improvement, it just drives you deeper into yourself and you just build up more, and thicker emotional walls, in the hopes that eventually it’ll just stop hurting, because you’ve walled yourself off from all contact.

Personally, Blitzo is my favorite character, but I definitely get your choice of Millie. As for the singing voices being amazing, Ozzie and Fizz are both voiced by broadway performers. Ozzie’s was the Genie and Fizz’ was beetlejuice so there was no choice but for it to be that good.

This episode was amazing and heartbreaking. The Asmodeus song was a BOP, the art style was so smooth and it was just amazing!! The ending broke my heart when I first watched it. As you stated in the beginning, he doesn't want to be alone because his past relationships have gone horribly in the past, and he doesn't want to lose the people that he cares about like Millie, Moxxie, Loona Stolas, and even Verosika, he feels guilty that he broke her heart, when she's singing at 16:35, and she's calls him, "A reckless heartbreaking feck." You can see his face change from angry, to a more guilty look. He's analyzing Millie and Moxxie's relationship because he wants something that they have, a loving, functional relationship. And I think that he broke down when he got to the picture of him and his family is because his mother, Tilla, is dead, and his sister, Barbie Wire is in rehab, as Verosika stated in Episode 3, "Rehab is for sad, loser, washups, so your sister says hi." So he's alone, family wise, and that's why the IMP crew are so important to him, because it's the only family that he's got left. Anyways great reaction as always!

Well, actually we’ve already have seen this side of Blitz a little. He tries to look all cynical, but there were multiple times he was losing nuts when someone treatens his employees. Constantly roasting Moxxie, but also literally shielding him by his body and even whole situation with challenging Verosika’s crew started after they attacked his worker. And when they were cornered in the end of 6 ep he was standing in protecting pose before all three of them. He is such mean person, but really tries not to stab into their soft spots, like we’ve seen he lied Moxxie about liking his music taste. Hell, he actually called them family in pilot ep, it just didn’t look serious. I really like how authors manage all this storytelling details. Also fun thing that while Moxxie is kind of whipping boy of the show, he actually is the happiest one. And just a little fun detail: seems like Blitz finds himself in garbage one time every ep

The reason why blitz is fascinated with moxxie and millies relationship is because blitz cant fathom the reality of actual romance in a relationship because hes been hurt so much he cant actually know the feeling of love in the way they do. Its like something he desperately wants but cant have because he doesnt know how

If you pay attention to the pics in Blitzo's wall, you can see he cross himself out of every pic with people that he cares. The core of Blitzo's caracter is how he fear abandonment and hate's himself for messing every relationship he had, most hurtful jokes, his will or not with Stolas, stalking Millie and moxxi, etc... come from that place.

There is one tiny detail to this episode I think a lot of folks miss that just shows how bad things are. Blitzo is a highly overprotective parent who's shown no sign of improvement on that front. Let's face it, no issues between him and Loona have been resolved since coming to light back in Spring Broken. So, for him to not be freaking out and trying to find his baby after reading her note tells us things are about to get a lot worse. He's right on the cusp.

1 does not make 2 true though. Why would that matter? Fizz and Ozzie are clearly everything Stolas and Blitzo want to be. And if not for his job, they could totally give them some pointers on how to make that kind of relationship work. But, of course, Asmodeus still has to keep up appearances for the club because.. obviously, they care about their guests. I really cannot convey how amazing those two are.

Also, Fizz is not exactly an imp anymore. He himself is mechanized, though theoretically to a far more advanced level than his "toybotic replicas" The question is, how/when did this happen, and did his relationship to Blitzo change before or after the upgrade? Did becoming an imp-droid drive a wedge between them, or did Blitzo in his inability to fathom proper intimacy shatter Fizz's heart so badly that he completely abandoned his imp nature?

Welcome to the pain! The series was all a trick to get you invested so that Spindlehorse could shove a *dagger* in your emotions and let that wound fester as you crave MORE. /s? Side note, Asmodeus is pretty chill, he and Fizz didn't kick Moxxie off for coming to a sex club to sing a love song, yes they mocked him and pushed him around in a assholish way but they mainly were focused on getting him to spice it up to fit the atmosphere and their whole 'theme. It's only when he *defied* them like a boss they started deriding him in force which got Blitz to jump in to defend him, getting their attention to beating him and Stolas down verbally. And then instead of completely obliterating Millie for attacking his imp lover like he easily could, or at least viciously wounding them, he let Moxxie finish his song and kicked them out after. So overall, pretty damn chill for a nearly all powerful demon lord. I am naturally completely unbiased about this matter. :p

I definitely felt sorry for stolas, but I actually felt more sorry for blitz. Up until this point, it did seem like all stolas wanted was someone to f*ck. Plus, blitz sees himself as the problem in every one of his relationships so when stolas looked away embarrassed at "you sold your life for a thrust" it just confirmed everything that blitz thinks about himself and made it seem like the caring stolas was just an act of sorts. But the saddest thing is that I don't believe blitz blame stolas in any way, shape, or form. Like I said, blitz sees himself as the problem in every one of his relationships

He wants to see himself as part of their relationship because he feels like he’s less likely to scare them off since they have to work for him.

I think the reason blitz always focuses on moxxie and millie is because they're the most stable relationship he knows (and they truly don't care what the people around them think about them) and he kind of wants to be part of that in some way. Like fizarolli said, "your love life is a pile of sh*t" and like they say last episode, blitz pushes everyone away("because you're thoughtless and cruel and you'll end up alone)

The great thing about starting this series so late is, the wait-time between this episode and the next one isn't so dire. _This_ episode premiered on Halloween '21, and I pretty much forgot about it mostly... I guess they're making it extra amazing when it does come out.

Most people have covered all the little things in the comments but I wanted to talk about the little glimpse we see of blitzø’s apartment. As he walks in he has a ton of pictures of his employees at IMP, Millie, Moxxie, and Loona, but every picture he is in he has himself scribbled out. We are literally seeing the self loathing that has been hinted throughout the series reach its climax in this episode with his relationship with Stolas and this scene. The pictures on his phone tell a huge story about his past and how he pushes people away in his life, including Fizz, Verosika, and now Stolas. I love how the end of this series delves into his relationships, battle with self hate, and how the two intertwine. The picture at the end is theorized to be his sister and mother, his sister who has been hinted at being his twin and stage partner when he did perform. Verosika mentions his sister in her episode in regards to rehab, but other than that we do not know much about his family, only that something happened. Love the reaction as always!!

Millie and Marcy have the perfect relationship. It’s healthy and they genuinely love each other. Blitz is living vicariously through them he wishes he could have that in his life but he’s too scared of getting hurt so we pushes everyone away that was literally the meaning of the last episode.

It's simple. He wants what Moxxie and Millie have. He doesn't have the guts to take it for himself so he hates himself for it but finds himself more and more obsessed to watch and live vicariously to gain it. It's envy in its base level.

I know it is heavily implied that Blitzo wants a similar relationship to Moxxie and Millies but what I think is overlooked a bit is that beyond wanting something like what they have, there have been numerous occurrences where it’s show Blitzo has an interest in both of them sexually and maybe even partly romantically, In Ep 2, He is seen messing around with what looks to be mini versions of them made out of random materials, he constantly butts in on their relationship, going so far as to enter their house unannounced despite Moxxie’s obvious displeasure about this habit, and even if it isn’t specifically stated, Blitzo shows genuine jealousy towards the twos attraction when hit with the Truth Bomb, it could all be read in other ways but as someone who at one point found myself interested in a couple romantically, some of these signs are quite common dhsishs

I think Blitzø is so obsessed with Millie and Moxie is because they have such a genuinely loving and healthy relationship. Something Blitzø wants, but potentially believes he doesn't deserve. He's trying to live his ideal love life through them, basically. Kinda like how some parents force their kids down a career path because they always wanted to go down that path, but never got to, and so they use their kids to fulfill their dreams for them against the kids wishes.

There is another 3D animation Project people are always quite captivated by, and it´s ultra high quality as well. It goes by the name of "Astartes" and is made by one single person. It´s a fan work about the Warhammer 40k universe, which in itself is a huge Rabbithole to go down into.

Hey, if you need an explanation on how the power rankings of hell all work, here you are buddy. First off, at the lowest level we have Imps and Hellhounds. These creatures are hell born demons and beasts (meaning that they don’t have mortal souls), yet seem to have no natural powers whatsoever. In seventh place are Hellborns, such as Succubi like Verosika Mayday and those fish-like demons we see at Ozzie’s (who are presumably all born in the ring of Envy). These are demons who, like Imps and Hellhounds, are all born in hell and don’t have mortal souls, but unlike imps and hellhounds they do seem to have powers. A good example is when Verosika and her succubus/inubus gang use their powers to seduce people in the third episode. Next up are Mortal Sinners, such as Vaggie, Angel Dust, Husker, and Nifty. These are sinners, bad humans who died and went to hell, gaining a new demonic form. The sinners can range from gamblers like Husker, prostitutes and strippers like Angel Dust, or even simply violent people like Vaggie. Also, mortal souls can not visit other rings of hell, since they’re only able to exist in the Ring of Pride Claiming fifth place are Overlords, human sinners who were so vile they became some of the most powerful beings in all of Pride. These include Vox, Valentino, and, of course, Alastor. Next are the Demons of Ars Goetia, also known as the 72 Pillars or the Legemeton. They consist of 72 angels who all fell during the War of Heaven (a war led by Lucifer to overthrow God) and became powerful demons. These include Stolas, Asmodeus (which explains how Stolas knows him), and a few more who aren’t actually shown yet, such as Andromalius and Furfur. They all respond to Lucifer. In third place we have the Seven Princes of hell, also known simply as The Sins. They are the seven demons who each rule over a ring of hell. These include Asmodeus of lust, Beelzebub of Gluttony, Satan of Wrath, Mammon of Greed, Leviathan of Envy, Belphegor of Sloth, and Lucifer of Pride (even though he’s not just the prince of Pride). They are all based on the real princes of hell in “Binfeld’s Classification of Demons”, which is how we know that Leviathan and Belphegor are a part of this universe despite us never seeing them. There are also references to Mammon and Beelzebub in key episodes of Helluva Boss; Mammon with various symbols on dollar bills representing him and his greedy nature, and Beelzebub with “Beelze-Juice”, an alcoholic beverage that we see Verosika drinking, which fits given that Beelzebub is the prince of Gluttony. In second to first place are Lilith, the wife of Lucifer and her daughter Charlie Morningstar (and yes, this does confirm that Charlie is more powerful than Alastor). We admittedly don’t know a lot about Lilith, but there are speculations that she is based on a character of Jewish folklore, being Adam’s first wife and the mother of all Succubi and Incubi, and although this is probably just speculation, it does fit. And finally, at the top is Lucifer, the prince of the Pride Ring as well as the king of all of Hell. He’s a fallen Angel who tried to overthrow god along with the 72 Demons of Ars Goetia. He’s the most powerful demon in all of hell, hence why his daughter Charlie is only one level below him (Also just a fun detail, we can see on Blitz’s phone that each of the Seven Princes have an app associated to them. Lucifer has “LuciMaster”, Satan has “Satan’s Workouts”, Beelzebub has “Bee Eats”, Mammon has “Moneymakerz Bank”, Asmodeus has “Lustfinder”, Leviathan has “EnVee”, and Belphegor has “Sleep Pillz”)

They really did a good job of animating the pain Blitz went through when Stolas hid his face after being called out. He had even been talking to him, for a brief second he was actually seeing them as a duo standing up for Millie and Moxxie and the moment Stolas's reputation was called out for being with something as disgusting as him- Stolas folded. Blitz is insane and volatile, but he is also ride-or-die and Stolas took a flying leap out of the passenger seat onto the pavement at the first speedbump.

With the question you had of why blitz is so obsessed with the M&Ms. I think the reason is because blitz has some intimacy issues. And I think he wants what they have, that kind of love and unfortunately because of the terrible self-esteem that he has he probably thinks he’s the kind of person who’s never gonna get that kind of love that the M&Ms have. So he’s kind of parasitically attached himself to them.

This episode hurt. It's the one where you see the real issues Blitzo is dealing with internally. The guy is desperate for a normal, real, sane relationship. It's why he's so obsessed with M&M. He's had romantic relationships, but he just can't bring himself to open himself up to the potential pain of loss. So he abandons them all. It's why he adopted Loona (partially anyway), as an attempt to have another type of real relationship. And we see that he actually does care far more about Stolas than he really will admit to himself or anyone else. For both of them it started out transactional. Book for sex. But it clearly has moved beyond that for both of them. Stolas happy to admit it, Blitzo terrified of potential hurt and loss again. And worst of all, neither of them know that the other feels the same as they do. Yet. This was some really deep character development. So much going on. As for Fizz... this is the real Fizz. The one at LooLoo Land was a robotic replica.

Loona: she was the adoptive daughter we see she completely despise bltizbut shes see him as his father. she grown up a lot to only recpetionnist as someone we can count for mission. This encounter with Tex was yhe reaching pointas she for the first time not have shewant but with his help begin to more independnat finishing to go on his forst festival. Moxxie: moxxie is someon who have a kind heart but have a big inferority complexe as he was afraid to be judge and hidde behind the strong force to his woman. He begin growning up on harvet moon festival as Striker is nemesis shw him he fealure he was become more in dnager as Bltitz want striker to work in IMP. He finish to break to said the ruth and finish to have acknlowledge of his step-family. Ep 6 wa reaching with help ontrth bond he finish to aid wah relly thinking of Blitz anf finally said is nam become more friends. Blitz: the main protaganist he was a jackass but he use this attitude to hide the fact he suffer to leneliness and his past. he was a great artis we finish to e a stupid clow on lololand. He finally realise his mistake but agin he decie to close his heart for not make everyonesuffer.. Stolas: first recurrng joke as just a perveert. he fially show is tru colors on ep 2 a great dady and someone who really care for the people he love. Blitz was the men who finally open his eyes for is tru felling (bring gay) and the fact he support his mariage all the years just beacuse of his daugter. all ep 2 lololand was the fact he decide to put octavia on this team park just to hide the fatc he was now separate for his wife but octavaia konw everything and finish to tell the truth. after this Stolas try everything now to have blitz wih his "date" on harvest moon festival o save him for demon hunter. ep 7 show now this action have now concequence now he leave alone on his apparteent a single only watch is daugter one week ( the other be mother turn). the date with Blitz was for him huge to show the people ths normal relaionship but fizaroli words chneg blitz mind as he said the truth the fact he fwas his arragemtn with Stoloas cost him to lost this happy live and lost his wife and daughter. something not entirely defined (yet !) happened to blitzo when he was young, we don't know exactly what but it concerned his twin sister, his mother and probably fizzarolli, because of that he think he's unworthy of being happy in his life (here's why his face is crossed out on the photos with a marker at 20:16 ) and when some peoples enter his life and becomes important (in love of as friends) to him like, Verossika, who was basically his first real love story, he just fucked up because he can't understand that peoples love him and make sure these peoples damn right hate him afterwards (like Verossika and Fizzarolli or Moxxie and Stolas) Luna is different because he litteraly buy her (adopt her, but she's a hellhound, so in hell it's in fact more or less the same thing) and that's why he's so "loving" with her because, well ... he owned her so she can't run away that's also why he always spy M&M, because in reality he's jealous, because in reality he want to be loved and love some one like they are yeah he's really brain fucked and has wayyyyy too much emotional damages ^^"

there are 2 prequel comics of Hazbin Hotel if you want to check it out there is also another MV called Oh Millie, it is the same song Moxxie sang to Millie in the pilot episode but with the whole song and completed animation other than that, there are Vivziepop animation like Zoophobia and Holidayz, they aren't connected to Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss nor each other just their own thing (Zoophobia is a dropped project, Hazbin Hotel idea/concept started off as a part of Zoophobia with the older designs of characters but got changed and seperated as a serie about Hell if I remember correctly)
