I’m so proud Ana. Not many people can say they finished a book, but you can! It’s ironic that you completed your 44k word project of ‘I met you in a graveyard’ because yesterday I completed my 100k word book ‘The moons and one world’. Like you, I’ll be moving on to draft #2 shortly. Congratulations! Good work! I am 53 years old and I’ve had a couple novels within me my entire life. When I was in high school I took creative writing and loved it. I used to write poetry and short stories. I have not written in a couple decades. I have my idea in my head and I’ve been watching a lot of outlining videos and character arcs. Going on vacation next week and I at least want to get a good start on my outline. I am finally going to do it even at my age

This video just got recommended to me and even though it's kinda old (2 months) I still want to share my experience with writing here in the comments! 😁💫 So, I've been writing a story about a war between two differents groups of wizards, and I love every second of it. Writing dialogue and playing mind games with the reader is so fun, and I love my characters so much, specially one that is so sweet and cute but can chose to be a cold-blooded murderer in a few steps. I'm only writing the second chapter, and I feel bad for not progressing faster. Even then I make myself write everyday, because I know that if I miss a single day I will start to slack off. Writing is fun and I'm glad there are people on KZbin who can relate to this (:

I’m working on a book called The Stolen Sun, it is a fantasy war book revolving around multiple perspectives, so you get the full view of most parties, I practically just started but I had been planning it out for a long time, and when I finished the first chapter I was overjoyed!

I remember when I finished my first book, “The Troublemakers”, I was so excited. I wanted to give it to my teacher as soon as I can; and once I did, she loved it. @@ananeu the story in a nutshell: set in a utopian world where people are kind of divided into 4 nations, it wasn't long until one nation was built (?) by four of the mayors from each nations to basically make peace around the world. my four main characters.. yes- *four,* learned that there's a particular someone who caused the destruction either from the past and now - continuing to the present, after chasing a bandit from a local florist. lots of drama and angst, with hints of romance, which is my cup of tea lmao- ty for coming to my ted talk🏃‍♀💨also ignore the lack of _metaphorical_ words there, english is not my first language and i won't write my story in english either so.. :']

I’m starting to write a book called “Mona” which is my real name, it’s about a girl aka me, who’s trying to find peace with her brain and herself, struggling with the thoughts of suicide. As she falls asleep she wakes up in a dream she can’t wake up from until she makes peace with herself and embraces the pain she’s going through. As she embarks on her journey she finds a cat named kitty cat which is her stuffy who claims to be her guide through her journey. I swear I have (actually) 8 different stories going right now, I just counted 😂😂 I thought I would share the titles and the main idea of them! First: Amy the Fourth: a girl who wants to ride horses, and does, but along the way discovers some challenges. Second: The Bow of Eternal Spells: a girl who didn’t get gifted with being a archer, which means she isn’t allowed to hold a bow. She’s determined to hold one, though. Third: The Beach House with Pink Shells: a family who lives near the ocean discovers something off about their rare pink shells Fourth: Bluebird: following the life of a bluebird Fifth: Woodland Pines: a girl living in the wild finds a hedgehog friend and challenges occur Sixth: The Garden Thorn: no plot yet Seventh: Kennedy of Alpine Chalet: two girls living in a orphanage, Kennedy finds something…. Off about Kathleen Eighth: Faster Than Usual: a girl living in a normal world meets her mentor for homeschool since her mom got a new job, later on he shows her a new world, one where time ticks faster and clouds are racing to the moon I’ll probably have so many more after a month or two! 😂🎉

its really hard to say! i think ending your book is really hard sometimes, but end it how you like. usually try to have a satisfying resolution whilst also hinting at the future and possibilities of the character's lives. hope this helps a little bestiee!

Also pomodoro sprints are good for productivity! So if you want to do a pomodoro sprint you put a timer for 25 minutes and after that you take a 5 minute break. Eventually you will get to take a longer break (10-15 minutes but I kinda don't remember) and then yeah, that how pomodoro sprints work!
