Good luck! Do note that the LRG Doom Classics cart was patched and they only mailed the revised version to folks who emailed a specific complaint. Not sure if that’s expensive but definitely worth keeping an eye out for.

Meat boy is a great game it has gone up, since i got it at 29, it has a bunch of stickers in it, i dtill have all of it, last time i checked a few years back. There's also owl boy too, astro chain is great too. I also have life beginnings with you and life ends with you. I saw the second one of life ends with you , i didn't get it get for ps4 wishing i did but dont know if life begins with you was available for the play stations, but at lease i have both on switch, only by switch exclusives, because i have all the play station, 1,2,3 , and the backwards compatible 3, and 4 and the first edition of ps5 disc edition. I love shante, i only have 1 of them, iam still working on ps4 games, only games i like, i could never afford a full collection of any of my collections, but do have alot of ps2 ,3,4 and 5 games even a couple remasters for 5 like tombraider, 1 2 3 , and i just read there voming out with 4 5 6, i think march, will have too reread it again. If i added all my playstation collection games physical only i bet i have over 1,000 of them not counting switch i only have 50, mostly exclusive..

I love atlus titles so I’m surprised when people don’t bring up titles like Catherine full body , rhapsody 1 2 & 3 (part 1 is expensive for the ps1) and are missing out on them one game I have been playing is omori and it’s amazing One game I would like to own is also shantae pirates but finding a reasonable priced one is annoying

I think some of them will go on sale like they usually do when a new console comes out, the marios and zelda, probale wont others will, to just make room for the new stuff, i did that when ps4 came out i got a bunch of ps3 gamrs , i was missing. I got some good deals

Pretty good picks! The only games I’m really raring to get physicals for are Pikmin 1+2, Pikmin 4, and Metroid Prime Remastered. I already own the games digitally bc they were games I had to play as soon as they were released, but it’d be nice to have them physically

Spyro re-ignited has a revision with all 3 on disc for PS4. Afaik it's a download for games 2&3 on Switch. Also VGP has been dropping 004 revisions of Metroid Dread recently.

I would wait until maybe 6 months after switch 2 comes out. People will be selling off their older stuff and prices will be the lowest. Thats when I'm really gonna buy up switch 1 stuff

I found i had a similar problem when the PS5 came out. Do I get the game on ps4 or 5. End of the day, I decided to just go with the PS5 versions. It can be annoying when looking at the collection and part of a series is on ps4 and then the rest is on ps5, but I realized, I always just want to play the best version of the game. Collector brain does suck though, i have many games that I don't even have a system to play them in just based on the IP. Like ALF for master system. 😂

May as well let you know since you seem to care about Complete On Cart - The Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Switch is mainly the first game and the other two are mostly downloads. I think the other consoles have the full trilogy on disc. I don't know if there's any Essential Last Pick Ups before Switch 2 - at least that aren't already out, I'm getting DK Returns HD, Xenoblade X, and Metroid Prime 4 when they release next year - but I guess part of me would like to finally buy Arms as that was Nintendo's new property for the Switch launch.

Super Robot Wars is a crossover of anime/ manga mech series into a tactical strategy game. 30, T, V, and X are on Switch. T is the only one where there isn't English on the Japanese release but there is an Asian release with English. If you're going to get 1, make it 30. They all play similarly but 30 is a bit bigger and more polished ( plus often cheaper. ) That said, if you want to get the most out of a Super Robot Wars games you probably want to at least read the synopsis if the prior games stretching back to NES as it's one extended continuity. Having seen the various shows before adds to the hype but isn't really necessary as they do a good job of introducing characters and franchises as they pop up in the game. As far as the SD Gundam games, there's Genesis, Crossrays, Crossrays Platinum ( Crossrays with DLC on Cart ), and Battle Alliance. If you're a casual Gundam fan and not going to the complete set go for Crossrays Platinum. It focuses on Gundam series like MS Gundam, Gundam Wing, and Gundam Seed which played on TV in the US and Platinum has all the Japan exclusive DLC on the cartridge. And yes... Samurai Warriors 4DX is still Japanese only. You might find conflicting reports because an English Version came to Steam earlier this year. I say still because I wouldn't put it passed KT to drop the patch 5+ years later without reprinting the physical.

Oh and if playing Super Robot Wars... take breaks often. When you save and exit out of the game characters do little yonkoma inspired comedy skits. Some get lost in translation or rely on deep cut references but others are entertaining enough that it's worth saving and exiting to see them even if you're going to immediately load that save file and resume.

I would say just keep going with Switch. Of course buy what you want on Switch 2, but you’ve already dedicated so much time and money to Switch 1, it seems kind of odd to stop.

I actually stopped playing switch because games look like ass on 4K TV so hoping the switch 2 will be 4K so it doesn’t look like ass on my TV and can finish my games.
