I would love to see a leather jacket! Love the apron too. I don't mind when you do multi-part projects. They are often different and more interesting than simple ones.

The difference in width of your aprons is likely due to the fabric width. Unless the wearer is a larger size or a child, the apron is usually the width of the fabric. The ideal finished apron measurement is half your waist. The gathered fabric is usually twice the finished width. The smocking of the fabric likely didn't look very nice because the "hand" or drape of the silk dupioni is very stiff. Smocking lends itself better to a cotton or lighter fabric. Your choice of pleats was perfect!

I would love to see you make a leather jacket! 😍And I also like multi part videos as the instructions you give are often more detailed 👍

I would like to add a comment saying the leather jacket would be super interesting to me!!! I would love to see what you do and all the inside details that you use to construct everything! I also like the multi part videos because we get to see more in depth and you get to take more time to make the items so it seems nice for both sides I hope. Thank you for your videos!

I would love to learn how to make a leather jacket! I've been trying to get into leatherwork lately and a handmade leather jacket would be very cool!

I think I would make a separate smocked panel and sew it between the apron and the waistband. 😄

Kachi is a really cool name, is it short for something? For some reason I think of German names as being similar to English ones but I’m always surprised by how cool they are

Sorry if that came across weird or stalkery, I find names and their roots and equivalents in other languages super interesting ☺️

If you can sew a vest, you can sew a dirndl!

Just finished the dress! I compared the apron pattern piece to the skirt and it’s 5 inches longer, even with the hem. I’m going to shorten the apron for personal preference but just wondering if there was a reason for this?

New subscriber, Hi 👋🏽 I really loved the green and I believe gold house coat the main actress wore in the movie “Crimson Peak” I bet you could really do it justice.

Today it works. Sometimes you just have to wait one day, then they add the subtitles.
