And demanded it done your way I'm happy for you

As a pipe fitter in the food processing industry I learned 304 stainless steel is somewhat magnetic . It will not hold up to different acids, salts, and other chemicals. Factories switched to 316 stainless steel , it helped. Some food processing methods caused Stainless steel to become pitted an wear away. Citric acid in stainless steel tanker trucks were always being repaired. That just backs up what your saying.

Always best to have a template, you don't want to waste any due to a bad cut. Just ignore the bashers saying you are using ordinary plywood not Marine, its so obvious that you are only going to do this once so it will be a large five star Diving boat. 'The tide is high' back to the Blondie song! Lol. Love the T Shirts.

Hey Justin, please read ! when the fiberglass resin did not set up, it was mixed wrong not enough Hardner when the Bondo balls up under their putty knife it’s got too much Hardner you might assign one guy to do all the mixing so it’s all the same after you train him, how to do it, right And then take an aspirin, so you don’t get a heart attack😀

When you are dealing with brass, bronze nails or screws ( soft metal) you can use a much smaller diameter drill bit. and pre drill a pilot hole. Wrap a piece of masking tape around the bit as a depth guage ( so you don't drill deeper than length of screw or nail ) . It's time consuming but you can use screws or get nails in without breaking or bending.

Hello Jason, been watching a lot of your videos since you had teamed up with Finn Snow after Adette. Have been enjoying the boat tow and rebuild and a big congratulations on your school and investment in the store and rentals. I just wanted to say one thing about your desire for all new and good quality in the build. As a tradesman myself, the truth is, it's the weakest link which causes failure, so getting the right wood and nails is very important for the long duration of your project.

the puzzle pieces you're talking about technical name for them is templates they use them little shabby pieces that they have on the boat now and they put it on the other would end a use that piece as a template to make sure they have the right shapes and everything with the peace. I'm not being a wiseguy buddy I only trying to help you out with the right terminology when I heard you say that that's all, I am not a Mr. know it all I'm only doing back to try to help you to know the right terminology. I'm sure some other turkeys on your youtub are much more critical but like I said there's a few turkeys in every crowd. :-) Awesome job body awesome

They make a epoxy resin that can be used with the fiberglass mat , it is better then polyester resin and sticks better to everything, and you can count on it drying properly if you mix it properly, it is expensive , not fiberglassing is dumb

and it wouldnt be practical to use those wide scrappers you bought for the workers because those epoxies are very thick in consistency versus the drywall putty that you were used to . It would bext to impossible to handle the epoxy with those wide scrappers.

is putting epoxy going to be the same as putting fiberglass on it? It will seal the surface and cause the wood to rot. Fiberglass use epoxy to bond the fibers too.

Make sure that you have someone there to keep track of the materials that you are buying and are being used on your boat. In your last video, you kept saying they are good workers yet they tried to pull a fast on you by not replacing some of the rotten boards. Trust no one buddy Make sure you have someone there all the time when you are not around. You are spending a lot of money on expensive materials. You still have major issues with repairs Justin. The front end ( Bow ) the right side ( Starboard ) the left side ( Port ) and the upper portion (Gunwale ) are, where the impact/brunt of the waves hit when you are traveling in high-speed conditions or even in normal conditions. The video still shows a lot of rotten wood on that boat. Glad that you are taking measures to replace and repair it. You also need to find a good bonding agent/adhesive/epoxy that is 100 percent waterproof to cover up all the corners of the wood being replaced or you will still have issues with leaks.

I wasn't born yesterday bud, and I specifically showed the last remaining rotted parts that needed replaced. Also, that's the back of the boat, not the front.

Haha, back not front. Nice comeback. We had cousins build our house. Excellent job, mostly but they were so sneaky. Selling gas that was for generator, overcharging for materials they sourced. Whenever I arrived for surprise visit at 10.00 they were still asleep. Silly buggers cost themselves work on our future projects. Left bad blood now between my wife and her brother. The application of the epoxy on the nail holes still looks terrible and why not fill board joins at the same time? New convert to your channel and enjoying it immensely. What's the deal with the resort? Looking back on old vids, not up to it yet. Keep up your good work.
