Make sure you put a GOOD carbon monoxide alarm in the boat if you’ll be sleeping with those diesel heaters going. All it would take is an exhaust to fall off or leak and you’d have a tragedy on board.

Make sure you have several carbon monoxide detectors. Can’t be too safe.

Is that motor water cooled? What do you on land when running it?

It is water cooled but just like a car it can run a certain amount of time before over heating. Also we removed the water pump so it doesn’t damage it running dry

How do you calculate what pitch prop you need for the boat?

There are charts and rules of thumb. Then after that is based on rpm you want the motor to run etc. luckily we ended up with the original prop
