Hello Pete. I just wanted to thank you for the videos. I'm restoring a 1951 Farmall C with my dad. My dad has rebuilt several old tractors but this is my 1st so being able to watch your videos before we start each section has been a huge help for me because I can visually see what we are doing before we start. A huge thank you!!!

What more could I ask for, wife made some cinnamon rolls ,so grabbed one of them, my coffee and came down and turned the confusor on and low and behold soon as I booted up YT there was your smiling face on top of the list!. what a way to start the day! My all time favorite video!. Like many viewers I know and appreciate all the work you put into just the video editing formats content etc. its almost as much work as the work on the Super C itself!. and I've done my share of rebuilds to know what you are doing in the background so I can really appreciate your work. And work ethics Pete. you sir do Stellar work. precise, and best of all correct!. Thank you so much for making this old man's day. I can't thank you enough. God Speed. ECF

When an engineer(s) design a component and there still going strong 50+ years later it says something. And when you consider oils from then and what we have now with all the additives, it’s a great achievement.

I have enjoyed the entire restoration; however, I must say the installation of the V-Belts was the best. The fact that I own Belt Warehouse made it special. I had a customer come in Last Thursday to purchase a belt and he said he was converting an old tractor from 6V to 12V. I told him I saw that on "just a few acres farm" and he said you have to be kidding me, he watches as well and that is where he got the motivation to do the project. Pete you are inspiring more than you know. Thanks for the past three years sharing your world - Love It.

Thank you again Pete, for another great video. At 74, I believe that I am in your father's age bracket, and although I have some knowledge of mechanics, I've done head/intake manifold work on big block, automobiles, and brake work, plus minor tune ups. I don't believe that I have the knowledge that you do, but I certainly have enjoyed watching you do and explain, about redoing/restoring your tractor. I believe that I have mentioned before, that I have a John Deere 3020. What you did, I wouldn't trust myself to do, and will probably have to pay someone to do, when the time comes. Before I can replace the fuel tank & fix my hydraulic tank, or replace the hose, where it is leaking; but to do what you did, I believe that I will need some help. But thanks again for the video. I have enjoyed watching you over the years, and hope that you will keep putting out more videos.

Better than new. I like it when an old tractor can be hand cranked in one or two pulls. 👍😄

My father in law, who has passed away, had an old John Dierre 1010 which he would take apart & repair. The choke was off a model T. He would love to watch you & relate to what you are doing. I on the other hand love watching this but it is over my head. Thanks for sharing.

Pete you are a master explainer, not many people can explain visually what it takes to disassemble and reassemble. I taught nuclear reactor maintenance, and you just have a gift for visualization and operation that is rare. Very nice job, keep up the good work and have a great day. You, Hill and family have a great holiday season, this is coming on the greatest time of the year, I can't wait.

Pete.... The Super "C" sure is looking sharp....! Lot's of detail to pay attention to.... if you're gonna do it, might as well do it right... bcuz if ya don't, ya gotta do it all over again...! Here's one for ya.... I bought a 96 Ford Explorer SUV 4 dr, rear wheel drive, 4.0 ltr. v-6 gasoline Engine back in 2009. About a month ago the Radiator went bad, it's got a plastic tank and an Aluminum Core. I got 3 estimates to have it replaced at local repair shops. #1: $693.17, Radiator -$448.99, engine coolant $18.99, no new Hoses. #2: $772.67, same radiator & coolant, hose kit $61.40, 4-clamps @ $3.00 each. #3: Different Shop, $866.26, Radiator $599.98, coolant $38.85, Transmission fluid $7.95, labor $153.00 I went to Automotive school in RI so I wouldn't have to pay Repair a shop big bucks. I got a replacement Radiator on Amazon $144.50 w/free shipping, bought hoses/coolant/clamps/trans.fluid all locally, the whole is under $200.00, my labor Free..! I may have told all that earlier...? =)

These are all excellent instructional videos. I have often said if I had any ground at all I would have a Farmall H to sit in the front yard. These look like reasonable tractors to rebuild and you demonstrate that restoring one can be a lot of fun. Yes. it is a big job, but when you finish you have a serviceable tractor for the next 40 years or more. I have always thought they were a sound investment. This is much simpler compared with the big MD.
