Finishing the DIY sunroof delete. Here's the result.

Alrighty guys, here's how it looks complete. Not too bad and relatively cheap solution. I probably spent about $100 or so total

I wonder if sunroof panel from audi 80, which i believe was metal sheet instead of glass would fit a4 b5

Is this like, a permanent delete or a temporary one? It it's a permanent one, why not just make a plate and form it so that it matches the roof curve and then weld it in? Hell, welding this one would be enough.

permanent, unfortunately welding onto thin sheet like this is a lot more involved so I decided this was best for me.

@@MarnellBalmeo that makes sense, working with panels can be a bit of a bitch. I see you buddy. Might be worth a look down the line if you get to where you're more comfortable with it. There's a guy I follow "Fitzee's Fabrications" he does smashing work and is very informative. He's an OG Body Guy and teaches using a lot of basic tools. I've learned a ton just watching him and listening to him talk. Have a great day sweetie!
