Nice work man. I drive a Renault Clio with a sunroof and I wish I could patch it up the way you just did. Fortunately it doesn't leak, but I still prefer a closed roof.

Dang! Looks good. Rip to 50lbs above you. Has better lower center of gravity now, less roll, squatting and diving. Good idea on vinyl wrapping it white, it’ll seal it up from water, debris and air 👌

If you cut the inner skin of the bonnet it's a lot lighter than a carbon one. You can't tell when it's down either it's just very flexible. Function over form thought right.

Maybe look into using hvac aluminum tape on the inside, I’ve patched sinks with that stuff before.

How you going to put on that vinyl wrap? Probably should wrap it around the bottom right? 3m makes a weatherstrip you could use to put between the lid so it don't leak. Man it's pretty funny watching you ain't going to lie.

Check your tail light gaskets. If that isnt it than a new sunroof gasket will solve your problem....or just buy this.

Znt no flex by no means mines perfect but there’s cheaper way to do it. For the clean look go your route but when you really trying to save the money I’m pretty sure you can save even more 🤷🏻‍♂️

Silicone seal underneath and wrap the top with vinyl. Should be good

Because ITBs are ridiculously expensive, finicky to tune, and a giant pain in the ass to start when it's cold outside. But so worth it if you have the time and money.
