It is good to see a Bronco actually off road. I was impressed with the stock 2 door JL, too. Your next build should be a Cherokee or what the viewers would love to see an old school Full size Jeep - Wagoneer or Cherokee. Every body has done the JK/JL build - be different.

You will love the bronco. We bought a 2 door this year. The Jeep has been in the shop for 6 months now so we needed something for a couple trips. It is more comfortable than the Jl. That makes a big difference on long trips. I have only missed having 37" tires that my Jl has on it. Other then that it has done well offroad.

To each their own, you get what you want and it makes no concern what others think. Personally, I am not a Ford fan but my first vehicle was a 1968 Ford Bronco with 3 speed on the column (kick myself now for getting rid of it). After the bronco, it was all jeeps and Chevys for the rest of my life. I do like how you are open to giving them all a shot with straight up thoughts.....kinda like Adam Sandavol and motorcycles. Great video and we will be back down in April to spend some more time at SMORR! That place was awesome last year taking the brand new Silverado ZR2 out there and meeting Jared and Ang...looking forward to it again and hopefully do some wheeling with you and Brandi as well. Keep up the great work!!

That last statement is 100% correct! You have to try things to make a proper judgement on them. I drove a 4.0 Xj and it was so bad it put me off ever driving another Jeep, I might try a newer smaller Jeep, but honestly, compaired to the Land Rover Discovery I was driving at the time it was a massive step back and less capable, less comfortable, less everything. Hope the Bronco is a good vehicle to you! 😀

The off road mode on my jl Rubicon got a little wacky on Steel Bender after 2 water crossings, the passenger side rear brake kept locking up, if this had happened on the fins on hell's Revenge it might have ended badly. I took it over to Moab Motorsports and Mike told me that the wheel speed sensors in the JL are known to get weird after getting wet 😮

This was a really good video. Glad to see you got a Bronco. Personally, In glad to see people wheeling the Bronco and showing its just as capable as most jeeps. I have a bitter taste in my mouth from jeepers that think only jeeps are capable of off roading. Having gone to an event at 4wheel parts and being told by multiple people that my Canyon isn't worth trying to upgrade because it will never be capable. Being told I can't take it to places that I've already been.

My reservation is always with corporate "Ford" and their marketing ... from my perspective they hit the market like they were the second coming and were going to decimate Jeep (like the Ranger did with the Tacoma?). Ford IMO doesn't have the culture (you have to earn it, not buy it) nor do they have the attention span. However, we'll see and I agree that you need to try new platforms in order to form an educated opinion of any model or brand. Jeep is far from perfect and my hope is that the introduction of the Bronco will force Jeep to stop sitting on their hands and address some of their basic issues.
