It's been a long and intense journey, but this Tiger project has come to an end!
The previous two weathering episodes gave me a few ideas on how to improve the mud texture on the hull, so I went over it once again with my new enamel mud mixture.
I also couldn't miss the opportunity to use the dirty water mixture which I first used on the Rutscher a few months back.
In case you're wondering why there's no smoke residue or soot at the end of the big KwK 36, it's because Germans used smoke-less gunpowder :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed this project. I've been modeling close to 60 years and this is one of the finest depictions of a Tiger that I have seen. All of the techniques you used were explained quite well. The benefit for all of us is; they are techniques any of us can use. No high dollar stuff. Just an investment of time and patience. Well done, sir!

I love it! I'm 14 and I've been doing modeling since I was 12. I have 7 ww2 tanks. I watch your vids so I can improve and buy new materials to make my models look good. And, how does a man cover a tiger model in dust and descusting mud, but not get a single drop of paint or powder on his perfectly white workspace? I mean like, I literally mix my paints straight on my desk, and use superglue too.

I'm 67 and started modeling at 7 when texture products didn't exist, acrylics didn't exist, and only pro artists used airbrushes on cars and surfboards. All we had was Testor's enamel and paint brushes- if you wanted to do special effects you had to get really creative and that meant making some spectacular messes like grinding up real rust to apply with clear flat paint. It gets easier to get neater, is all. Don't sweat it, it comes slowly but naturally.

Your tips saved a previous build of a KV-1 I started in 2018 and finished a year later (first time building for about 20 or so years at the time) as I went back to it and applied the things you showed and the improvements were night and day in comparison. So thank you for these videos and keep em up! I've sent links of your videos to friends who have started this hobby to give them the same inspiration you've given to me.
