My daughter recently had a fender bender. I decided to repair the car myself after watching your videos. Fortunately, there was no frame damage, and I only had to fold a little bit of the front rail back into shape. I went to a couple of salvage yards and managed to find panels that were the same color as my car. I saved a ton of money versus sending the car to a shop. I wouldn't have had the confidence to do the repair without these videos. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Like my 2014 Nissan Sentra. If Tennessee law was different, it would have been repaired. The body damage wasn't that bad but because Tennessee's laws don't separate the airbags and seat belts from the estimates for body repair, the $4000 that are was estimated for the airbag, seat belts and all related parts with labor to change EVERYTHING as required by the insurance companies totaled an otherwise repairable car. What is even worse is that the Great Pyrenees dog that jumped out in front of my car hit the grille and the bracket that the airbag sensor was on. Because of that, a fairly mild impact set off the driver's airbag and both seat belts.

I love that Honda sells all the little pieces separately, you never know when you might need that little piece...but it sucks when you need a whole assembly like the cooling fan, then you have to buy it all separately...i worked in Honda parts for awhile. I always gave discounts when someone needed a whole assembly like a cooling fan

I had a 2021 Range Rover that hit a deer and did quite the number on it. The engine bay wiring harness was damaged and needed to be replaced as soldering a new pig tail for the air bag sensors didn't seem smart. That wiring harness is built to the VIN based so not something that dealers just keep stocked. Catch was the wiring harness was manufactured in Ukraine, and this was back during the initial months of that situation. So after months of waiting for the harness to be built, and then several weeks of it making it'ys way through customs at multiple countries. It finally made it to my city, for FedEx to deliver. Shockingly the package went missing and we lost our wiring harness. After all that it was decided to total loss the vehicle and cut our losses. Freaking FedEx man.

24:12 those tamper proof screws. Back in my retail days we used those on a lot of stuff in the store...showcases and the like....only problem? It was a hardware store so you could walk over to the hardware section and steal one of the security bits to go over and remove the doors to the locked showcase lol.....
@BrucePierson

You are lucky that the module only had tamper-proof screws. I have a part that has these one-way screws. You can do them up with a flat screwdriver, then you can't unscrew them. I will have to drill the screw out!

38:39 as a Ford owner, I confirm... the POS has been standing still for over a year, ever since the Ford Engineering EcoBoom Mode took ownership of my 2018 Escape and it no longer works. Unfortunately, on the magical taco country, you cannot get the battery replaced by the Ford dr00g dealership because it is not covered by warranty as it is considered a disposable part, and it must be an original one with this fancy Battery Monitokill System. The cost of the new battery is so expensive, I'm surprised it doesn't come with another vehicle for free.

Man, I feel your pain with shipping. Ordered some coin batteries back on August 22nd and they arrived 9/6. They were shipped from a warehouse 18 miles from me and USPS picked them up on 8/22. That works out to 264 FPH or .05 MPH!

16:55 I bet those filler panels for the fog lights cost almost as much as the fog lights. Question: does the wiring harness come with the plug for the fog lights? I ask because I found out that (at least in 2006) Ford F150's had all the same wiring harness no matter which model you bought. No fog lights? harness had the connection in the bumper and behind the dash, just no lights or switch.
