The madlad actually got the Banshee into the final boss on his first go. He's already trying to get vehicles where they don't belong. Truly one of us now. Yeah, that cliffhanger *sucked*, remember we had to wait *years* for the next installment. Halo 2 was 2004, Halo 3 was 2007 and an entirely different console. Halo 1 was at the start of the original Xbox while Halo 2 was at the end. Halo 3 marked the move to the Xbox 360.

I TRIED doing that but every time either the banshee wasn't damaged enough or it was too damaged and exploded. I was never lucky enough to actually finish it in a banshee. I did finish Halo 3 ODST in the tank though, even though the highway is closed off. No spoilers, just details that are irrelevant to the story.

@@Glacial_floofs Unless you modded the game or somehow got the wraith outside of the map through the skybox, it's not possible. I've modded the game and gotten a wraith in there, but I had to make it spawn from a plasma pistol charge because there was no physical way to get the wraith in there, aside from the skybox. Even with noclip and modding it, that method took hours and I quit after 5 hours of trying. Next time you try to flex on people, at least make it true.

I actually noticed a few things in the “Delusions of Grandeur” cutscene that I didn’t before. Firstly, keep in mind how many lives Thel has taken. 1.6 billion in the name of the Great Journey, and he had to realize it finally after hearing it not from the Gravemind but a remnant of the Forerunners. You can see his expression before he says “Tartarus, the Prophets have betrayed us” as he essentially comes to terms in that moment. Tartarus has it very bad as well. The Prophets used him and the Jiralhanae as expendable muscle since they were less cunning than the Sangheili, making them easy to control. I noticed Tartarus look up for a moment when Spark was explaining with an expression I can only describe as pain? Maybe? I’m not sure, but it would make sense because of how the Jiralhanae have a very close bond with their brothers and members of their pack. Something embedded in his nature, countless brutes sent it to die for a lie, and are we to expect Tartarus, a stubborn Chieftain, to come to terms with that as well just as he is about to (at last) fuel his “holy servant” complex? Tartarus is a stubborn fool, but I sympathize with him and all members of the Covenant. They were played like a damn fiddle, but again they had a choice.

They explored that story with Atriox. Atriox wasn't an average Brute, he was clearly smarter than others and more skilled in combat. He was a believer in the Great Journey, but after so many missions, watching 39 of his brothers die at a time, his hatred for the Covenant and it's beliefs led him to staging a successful rebellion against the Covenant.

Another day at the beach was a remastering of a promotional video that released with the original Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack Disc. It shows the story of only those ODSTs and the crash site we see in game on the mission Outskirts. Unfortunately, not a part of ODST. But stay hyped for a totally different feel in this next one! The Covenant civil war is awesome. Elites, Grunts, and Hunters fighting Brutes, Jackals, and Drones. It would've been cool if we saw it in 3 and maybe some Jackals switch sides just to be on the winning team. It's interesting how each prophet's death fits their names. Mercy- Received no mercy from Truth Regret- Bit off more than he could chew and regretted attacking Earth with such a small fleet and getting the ire of Chief Truth- Died as a liar proclaiming what he thought was the truth in the ways of the Covenant.

so in halo 3 odst(if you havent started yet), there are terminals that you can listen to. if you get them all you get a little secret toward the end. you can collect them in Mombasa streets(playing as rookie). plus they are just interesting to listen to. a side story

I've got to admit, all of my playthroughs of MCC I've never tried to bring a Banshee to the end of Halo 2. Scorpions, Warthogs, Ghosts? Yea they've gone down the tight hallways to bring joy (and a healthy dose of bullets and shells) to all manor of enemy. Guess my next playthrough I'll have to get the Banshee on that list haha

As cliff hangers go, we had to wait, 3, years for the conclusion, & it was well worth it. The hype created by the cinematics in the run up certainly helped get the feel of what was transpiring. If I were you I'd watch that again before starting 3, but that's just me. But I still find Halo 2 is the best, partly because of that blue ball cliff hanger
