This week we put some finishing touches on the Moon Garden to make it extra secure and magical. Also we experience a crazy storm that could have done some real damage if we weren't staying at our Airbnb. We take care of some maintenance stuff and have a good time!

Windows, do the same thing with the swiffer but instead use Dawn soap and water.

Ooo great idea - I'm definitely going to try dawn next time! I used vinegar and water and it didn't do too hot with the dirt!

7:30 u have to squigee the outside windows..and only paper towels used on windows... no rags.. only way to clean clear windows

Sorry to say, had you left the natural wood unpainted under the moon balls in the garden, they would have aged silvery gray and blended in perfectly with the branches of the bushes..

Squeegees are best for windows, saturate the window with whatever cleaner it can be 90% water maybe little bit of Dawn dishwater soap squeegees are about 10 bucks. They’re the best tool for this job then you wipe the sides dry

Is that a zinus frame? If so, I had the same one in my airbnb and it would not stay tightened either. I even reinforced the entire thing with wood glue which bought me a year, but it eventually failed. I think the wood glue would have kept it tight but our bed is on carpet and the cleaners moved it every clean to make the bed which was just pulling way too much on the joints.

Wonder how many hours you have in on the lights in the moon garden.. I always think things will be much simpler to do than it really ends of being. Glad you were there for the wind storm. Always something to fix or tweak at an STR.

So, I am not team pineapple. But I found out about it in a weird way. I was on a Caribbean cruise and I decorated my door. It was my first cruise and I I thought it would be neat to jazz up the door a little. So I found some cute decorations including these some 🍍 with sunglasses and I had a couple knock on my door. Thank goodness they explained it to me, so I took it down.
