Just to clear things up a little bit, Wanda does actually have the power to generate realities of her own, they are not illusions, they are definitely real. They would not have survived beyond the hex, and they were not born or created in a traditional way, but they were real.

Accidentally or not she is a threat. She without trying held an entire town hostage. Then after this proceeds to study the book of the damned which awakened her Dark soul. Then immediately following this borderline terroristic act. Wanda goes and hunts down a teenage girl and while on the way to kill a kid, Wanda slaughtered all of Kamartage. Reanimated corpses to inflict more torture upon the dead. In hopes to kill a kid, steal her powers, open a rift to another dimension which causes a literal Incursion just so she could then kill herself so she can parent "HeR" kids from another dimension. Why are people trying to make this some one-off mid-day TV drama about trauma? It's got all the things you listed as undertones yes, but this series shows the mirror of Tony's life. When trauma pushes people to a point where heroes are defined or villains are created. Like Colossus said in Deadpool "Being a hero only takes one second, one decision. It doesn't mean you've got to live a lifetime sin free"

Then immediately goes to hunt a kid and on the way kills all of Kamartage, Defender Strange, plus the Illuminati of 838. Resurrected the dead of Kamartage just to further torture them. Just so she can kill a kid to take the powers for herself to open a rift to another dimension which causes a literal Incursion (That means 2 entire dimensions are destroyed) then kill her 838 self and parent the 838 Billy and Tommy in the 838? Give me a break 😂 This isn't some daytime television drama. The points you mentioned are yes themes but NOT the main reason for this show in the scale of the MCU. Wanda was forced into this world unprepared, and when put in situations where she has a choice, she chooses to ignore other's problems till it all falls apart and eventually affects herself. Wanda also doubles down on bad choices time and time again. Also never righted her wrongdoings. She's misguided from the beginning. Wanda's family was real. The reason they cease to exist if the hex was taken down is because they were created inside the hex. Think of the hex, Wanda's hex was their universe. Just like our universe, if our universe got destroyed, we all cease to exist. And also, if you remember in episode 4, Wanda's power is CMBR, Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation aka the bigbang energy that created the universe and infinity stones.
@Iam_Stu5 ай бұрын
Her power isn't CMBR. Her creation emits CMBR. Like if my power was being able to make orange flames, you wouldn't say my power was orange light. CMBR is just very low intensity leftovers from the big bang that just looks like a really cold object. There's nothing really special about CMBR beyond that it's there at all. It's just microwaves like we heat things up with. It's also really weird for there to be CMBR being emitted at all since it's just a low temperature curve (-270 C), it only exists as it does because of the passage of billions of years and the expansion of the universe. So the CMBR wouldn't have looked anything like it does now right after the big bang, so you'd expect a hotter temperature curve from Wanda's reality creation.

When my brother let me read his collection of Marvel comics in the 70s Vision became my favorite character. I like that in the MCU they have portrayed his thoughtfulness and kindness as much as his super powers. I found it very touching that, even as his end approached, Wanda's Vision still thinks to prepare her to maybe meet White Vision in the future. "I have been a voice with no body. A body, but not human. And now a memory made real. Who knows what I might be next?" He then follows that up with, "We have said goodbye before, so it stands to reason..." prompting Wanda to respond, "We'll say hello again." I thought that, even more than the iconic "What is grief, if not love persevering" line was a wonderful depiction of Vision.

Some decisions about which characters were introduced in this series just came down to MCU writers repurposing stuff from the comics in new/different ways. Agatha Harkness was a significant figure for comic book Wanda, her mentor- the one who trained Wanda in formal magic/spellcasting - which was completely separate from her innate powers. Likewise Monica Rambeau was the first female Captain Marvel (she had that particular title 30 years before Carol Danvers) and later adopted a different superhero name. In the comics Monica's superhero origin was completely unrelated to Wanda, but in the MCU they decided having her pass through the hex barrier multiple times, her cells being altered by its exotic energies was how they'd give her super-powers. But changes like these really aren't anything new. In the comics Tony Stark spent over 30 years hiding the fact that he was Iron Man, while Pepper Potts fell in love with and married Happy Hogan, not Tony. Hela was Loki's daughter, not Thor's older sister. Mantis was a martial artist from Viet Nam, not an alien. Spider-Man was one of the first superheroes, not a kid who grew up idolizing the Avengers. So the MCU has always been a different reality.

Yeah... I'm really not trying to hate on Tristan...but it seems like he's getting progressively worse about looking for the opportunity to make his next joke...at the expense of actually paying attention and seeking to understand/having a little empathy. Not everything has to be laugh a minute and when you're cracking jokes during sad moments/more invested in coming across as the funny guy...it's not a good look. I stick around for Sam's genuine interest and discussion...but it's getting harder to tolerate the other half. Honestly, I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad and I recognize that it's a likely outcome of me stating all of this...but I truly want to continue enjoying your reactions...I want to see you folks succeed. I just think maybe it's how he copes with the awkwardness of being recorded and maybe he needs to realize that no one is expecting him to be "on" all the time. It's okay to sit and process something instead of giving in to the knee-jerk "must entertain" impulse. Seriously, no hate...all just a desire to see some real connection to the material...because that's a lot more entertaining for me than someone constantly cracking jokes.

Some Explanations: When White Vision regained his memory, his last memory was the fight against Thanos in Wakanda, so that's where he went as he believed it was still happening. In the comics, Agatha Harkness is Wanda's mentor. She taught Wanda Witchcraft and she is a very important character in the development of Scarlet Witch's story. There is no season 2 of Wandavision, what we will have is an Agatha spinoff, which will be released this year (probably in September). After Wandavision, we only see Wanda again in Doctor Strange 2, Multiverse of Madness. This film, in addition to being a continuation of Strange's story after the events of Endgame, is also a direct continuation of Wandavision. Furthermore, the book Wanda was reading in the post-credit scene was Darkhold. Book of "black magic" that corrupts everything and everyone it touches. So it's not a good sign that this book is in Wanda's hands, but we'll only see the consequences of that in the future :)

her kids are real!! but because of her grief she automatically and accidentally made a shield (hex) around westview and thats why vision and the kids cant leave westview! she can alter reality the way she wants.
@neospock50345 ай бұрын
Her ability to completely alter reality is limited to the hex. Outside of it, her power is more limited. Vison and the kids couldn't leave because they were just chaos magic constructs. Existing things that Wanda's power altered continued to exist after the has was gone, in their altered forms. But things that didn't exist before (like Vision and her kids) return to non-existence outside of the hex.
@neospock50345 ай бұрын
@user-zg6cv2ek6x Monica's clothes are the perfect example of what I'm talking about. Monica was wearing clothes when she entered the hex, including a SWORD jacket and bulletproof vest. Those items already existed in the real world. Wanda's hex changed their appearance into a 1970s outfit. But the underlying properties remained the same, Monica's disco pants were 87 percent kevlar (from the vest). It was the same matter, just reconfigured. And any changes Wanda's powers made to existing matter (like Monica's outfit, the drone, the space rover) were permanent. They continued to exist outside of the hex, in their altered forms. In contrast, Red Vision and her boys were purely creations of Wanda's magic. They weren't existing things or people that her powers had affected like the Westview buildings. cars and residents. Instead she'd created her family inside the hex. They didn't already exist and that's why they ceased to exist when the hex went away.
@marciasilva5495 ай бұрын
@@neospock5034 That's not accurate at all. Agatha explained it - when creating Vision and her children, Wanda tied them to her "twisted world" aka the hex, and since once cast a spell cannot be changed, her children and Vision cannot exist independently from it. Notice that she turned Agatha into Agnes after the hex in that area had been brought down. Her family and everything else that was changed/created inside Westview is tied to the spell. If she hadn't done that, they would've continued to exist. It's got nothing to do with them not being pre-existing beings or just chaos magic constructs, nor is her ability to alter reality limited to the hex at all. The hex was simply a spell in a contained area and she subconsciously locked herself to within its limits. Monica's clothes prove that Wanda's ability to alter reality is not limited to the hex - the only difference is that they were not tied to the original spell. Much like Agatha and her new persona Agnes.

This was a great series & retelling of a pretty strong comic. What many don’t know or appreciate was because Falcon & Winter soldier needed massive rewrites & reshoots WandaVision was pushed forward (less time to complete) causing it to have its own rewrites & reshoots all during covid. I suppose another thing to remember with the shows is that Marvel weren’t trying to do much, introduce characters, progress story lines & let the movies do the heavy lifting. Not convinced that’s exactly how it ends up, but if Tristan feels something amiss in this show well it lost a whole episode. Darcy couldn’t make reshoots so you barely see her in the last episode, from memory I think Darcy & maybe Monica were originally rescuing the twins in the basement from… Agatha’s Rabbit, who isn’t just a rabbit. Anyway they managed to squeeze Agatha in, who has links to Wanda in the comics, Wanda’s evolution into the Scarlet Witch, we see white Vision who hopefully will become our Vision one day, introduce Monica (again, grown up this time) and I could go on. Despite all the disruption this show did a lot of its own heavy lifting for Disney+ & Marvel, introduced the shows, and it was a great mystery to the very end credits

They retconned that whole idea (which i hate) so now their parents are Scarlet Witch (Natalya) and Scarlet Warlock. In the comics, Natayla send the kids to live with their aunt and uncle for safety reasons. The MCU could tie in that the parents that died were actually the aunt and uncle but we'll see if Disney decides to actually do anything with that storyline in the future. I assume someone said something in past videos but fake Pietro is Quicksilver from the X-Men movies (and the better quicksilver imo). They included him in here because at the time, Disney had just bought Fox and had the rights to finally use those characters. It was the beginning of merging the 2 franchises into 1. 15:36 In this scene we are shown how powerful Wanda is, now that she has total control over chaos magic (which is the magic that is kind of a "sister" to phoenix magic). Wanda manages to remain in astral projection (which is when her soul separates from her body), even though she is conscious. Unlike Doctor Strange which she does while her body is at complete rest. I ask you to watch Multiverse of Madness where her powers are more explored (not fully, but they are). And currently in the MCU, Wanda/Scarlet Witch is the most powerful being. Oh, I almost forgot lol, Wanda and Scarlet Witch are the same thing, different from Jean and the dark phoenix. Kisses from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

My thoughts after your reaction to the whole show: 1. For the love of all things good, react to 2-3 episodes per video in future MCU shows. Reacting to Wandavision took a while for you guys especially since each episode is way shorter than a whole movie. Man it was a bummer waiting so long for just 1 show. Most other reactors react to 2-3 episodes per video. 2. Don’t expect season 2 for any future MCU show (even if there are). Most of these MCU shows are limited series so that means the story is able to wrap up within one season (with the exception of Loki and a few others). If the story needs to continue past the 1st season then it will indirectly continue in a different movie/show. 3. Relating to Wandavision. Billy, Tommy, and Vision are indeed very real. They were created by magic but they are still very much real. They have their own thoughts, emotions, and even LIFE. So yes the ending was very sad due to them being real, Tristan. 4. I… just don’t understand the Monica hate. Don’t have anything else to say. Overall this first MCU show was a little rough as a reaction.

Yeaaah....... Don't look up info about Season 2 because you'll get Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness spoilers. Also, Agatha is a pretty significant character from the comics and in the comics, she was the one who trained Wanda in the magical arts. Her use in this show was to help Wanda actual realize the extent of her powers and her identity as the Scarlet Witch. So far in the MCU, she has just been Wanda Maximoff. Now she's Scarlet Witch. She also introduced her to the Darkhold. Fake Pietro was more of a fan service thing that you'd only appreciate if you'd seen the X-Men movies.

Agatha fulfilled two roles in this series. One, she was there to reveal the truth to Wanda about her being the Scarlet Witch, and two, she was there to give Wanda someone to fight since all superhero movies and shows have to end with a big hero vs villain showdown. As for a second season, there isn't one. There is a kind of sequel series coming up though, but I won't reveal what it's called because of spoilers.

This finale was so great. But just to let you informed already guys there's a movie call " The Marvels " who came out last year. But before you start to watch this movie you still need to watch a new series cause there will be Carol Denvers as Captain marvel, Monica Rambeau , which you ended with Wandavision, now there's a girl call Kamala Khan in this Disney plus series named " Miss Marvel " , which is a trio female of superheroes in this marvel movie. So you don't spoiled yourself.

I know production was interrupted by Covid, and I get the feeling that some scenes with Vision, Darcy, and Monica got sacrificed, so the ending may have felt a little quick for you because of that. But I think I can explain some of your Agnes questions. You got that Wanda started the Hex accidentally and driven by grief. She probably kind of knew it was wrong, but couldn't feel anything but her own pain. Agatha was a scavenger, who came across the Hex and joined it so that she could figure out what was causing it and scoop up the power. She did all the research to figure out what Wanda really was so that she could defeat her. Plotwise, Agatha is in here to teach Wanda (and us) what she is. Without her and her scheming, we would have no understanding of Wanda's power beyond the fact that it's freaking strong. Pragmatically, she was in there so that the show could end with a hero v supervillain power fight and an awesome costume change.
@allenpensivy30305 ай бұрын
Just wanna throw it out there that Agatha being the one who teaches Wanda about witchcraft and tells her she is the scarlet witch is 100% comic accurate, however the situation in which we meet Agatha is different here

I’m sick of people especially men villainizing Wanda. She didn’t mean to do any of this. She suffers from being far too powerful and having no real skill or knowledge or control of said power. Agatha and Hayward are the real villains here and if you can justify the things Tony Steve and Dr strange have done then don’t come for Wanda
@OzoneGamerStation5 ай бұрын
Except she literally does villainous actions that she decided to do. There’s no denying she has gone through a lot and is emotionally broken, but that’s no excuse for her actions. “Especially men…” gender has nothing to do with this let’s not go there.

There is no WandaVision two and Disney has said there won’t be. But the continuation of this story is in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of madness. In the original script before a Covid hit the commercials that you seen during WandaVision were messages being sent in by Doctor Strange to help her and try to pull her out. But due to Covid and travel restrictions everything had to be rewrote and Doctor Strange did not appear in the final episode of WandaVision. Remember when Agnes said the Scarlet witch is more powerful than the sorcerer supreme which is Doctor Strange. I will not say anything more about that as to not spoil Doctor Strange Multiverse of madness. And yes, also at the end Monica was being called up by Nick fury. I will not say any more than that not to spoil the marvels movie. Everything that happens in these movies and Disney+ shows is based on comic books stories but rewrote for the MCU. They changed the story slightly to work better for television or the movies. Great reaction.

You cannot watch any content related to wandavision season 2 because it's not standalone, like you cannot watch Capt. America civil war trailer after you watch Capt america first avenger. Also, don't listen to comments who suggest you to skip ANY show or movie, either for not good enough or irrelevance reason, because all of them will relevant eventually, just like when you watched movies in order, you don't skip thor dark world or captain marvel because it's bad, because it's relevant and necessary, eventually. Skipping just ruining experience (you're lucky with guardian of galaxy vol 1 and black widow), and people who tell you to skip didn't skip themselves

For the record Agatha Harkness has been a fixture at Marvel since Stan Lee & Jack Kirby created her in the Swinging Sixties. So as characters go, she has one helluva pedigree. She started off as a supporting character in the Fantastic Four for a couple of decades. Then she because Wanda's magic tutor in the Eighties, before betraying her in the late Nineties if my memory serves me correctly. (If it doesn't, don't worry someone will come in and correct me.) She always does the same since becoming a villain. She just hangs out innocently in the background, while messed up things are happening, then you find out she's the one messing things up. Agatha was not a last minute addition.

So you dislike Monica and Carol, two powerful female superheroes, mm yeah.. I’m sensing misogyny.
@Sentinel3D5 ай бұрын
The kids were real. They were really born of magic, They had their own thoughts, and they will become Avengers. Monica was the real first female Captain Marvel. Her origin was almost exactly what Carol Danvers was, and they tried to give Monica powers in some other way. I didn't like that she got her powers from Wanda either, because Monica as Photon is extremely powerful. They really messed up on Captain Marvel because first, they redacted her getting her powers from a beloved male version of Captain Marvel, and then they instantly made her ultra-powerful. Captain Marvel can CHANNEL the energy of a sun, but doesn't HAVE the energy of a sun. Hulk has punched her into space and knocked her out. Spiderman has defeated her, but for some reason they decided to make her into a super Sayan. But Hollywood does not know how to write true power. They zoom out and write clouds and debris and destruction instead of power.
@neospock50345 ай бұрын
Wanda's kids don't exist in the main universe outside of the hex- they were magical conjurations just like Westview Vision. Ther are other realities where she and Vision had kids in the real world, but those two particular iterations of Billy and Tommy were only real inisde the hex (the same as Westview Vision)
@neospock50345 ай бұрын
The MCU is a different reality from the comics with different history and power scaling. Many characters don't really resemble the comic book versions, not just Captain Marvel.
@Sentinel3D5 ай бұрын
@@neospock5034 of course. And what I'm saying is I don't like the choices for the changes they made, especially the way they accelerate lifespans. Look at Thanos. He did so many things in the comics, and they limited him to just the Infinity war and killed him. Look at Hela. One and done.
@neospock50345 ай бұрын
@@Sentinel3D yeah I really dislike the dispoable villain model too. Some things are just a fundamental part of comics- the villains most often should be be captured, escape or seemingly perish in catastrophic events where their demise cannot be verified (no body found) so they can return as more formidable threats in the future.

I liked when Captain Marvel was having punching battles and running around inside the ship. Also she's a fighter-pilot like "Maverick" so that accounts for her attitude. Even Mar-Vell character was sassy when after they crashed and she was bleeding she says "Yeah but is my hair okay?" Every fighter pilot should have the attitude "If lives are at stake then I'll be the one piloting." There is no room for second banana.

I created my own head cannon which is Wanda unknowingly pulled a real Pietro in (from the FOX universe, possibly,) and Agatha gnabbed him and put him under her control. With the control removed (by the beads,) and the hex was still in place, he was back under Wanda's spell, with the re-written reality and his fake life, in this universe. Know tellin' where he ended up afterward, when everybody was freed. Perhaps he remained here in the MCU's main-line universe, or kicked back into his original universe.
