Watching the videos make me miss my RCSB. It had a D1-SC on it and I took it off to change the FI setup. I've got all the suspension, 4L80E and 14 bolt 6 lug axles. I can't wait to dive back into the build for it. I've got to finish my Yukon and my Trailblazer changes.

Wait until I finish them to get jealous because it's stressful AF. My Trailblazer has a LS3 416 and I'm trying to figure out the best way to optimize it's combo. The Yukon is getting a bunch of parts from the Silverado like the 4.11 gears and diff Fast LSXRT intake and headers and from the Trailblazer the Yank SS3600 converter and 243 heads from the LS2 turning the LQ9 into a LS2.

I have a 2000 Silverado like yours...red. Thanks for the info on the front valance. I immediately ordered one. Mine was a 4.3....rod knock a year after I bought it and I installed a 5.3 I had sitting for a year. Looks absolutely stock except for the 4.3 sticker on the fan cover. Nice ride...keep up the mods. Dude take off the mechanical fan and buy a factory fan. Spend the money and buy the aftermarket wire kit and wire it to the computer. Pretty easy. You will have to program the computer for the mod.

Same color I was thinking of painting mine later on. My grandad passed back in august but before he died he handed me the title to his 2002. My 2003 dodge ram gave out when I had to move out my dorm when all the covid shit started. Ended up selling it a couple months back. So now I drive my grandad’s 2002 chevy Silverado.

@@Stan1le Ima try to. I graduate college next December. As soon as I can buy another truck Im going to. I was thinking about painting my grandad’s chevy the color grey of the one in the video with blue specs/flakes and then putting new rims on it. Jack it up, put a rhino bar in the back with a 4 strip of those old KC lights. Then a bull bar or bumper in the front with a winch and two more kc lights. Also change out the head lights, tail lights, and tow light. I also though about taking the hood off and getting another one if I choose to repaint it and write gdad’s hood on it.

@@Stan1le I'm sure there are many of us that agree with you. I just bought a 1999 and love this front end more than any except for the NNBS 07-13. Paid $3500 for my '99 with the stock 4L60E rebuilt and the '05 5.3L swap already done just gotta do the e-fans swap and some other mods. It'll end up being a 500HP N/A (crank HP) beast. My 2011 Silverado extended cab 4.8L I did all the work to myself. 4L80E swap, top end rebuild with a TSP stage 2 turbo cam and VVT delete. Now has a 70mm single turbo and currently getting the 4L80E rebuilt to handle 800RWHP and then I have a tuner appointment for the 30th.

First off your truck is awesome man, i would love to do that to mine some day but i'm in canada so slamming it won't work so a lift will have to suffice. I need to buy a frame on my 6.0 2500 gasser. Life threw a T bone into her before my dad bought it and the previous owner was a mechanic that fixed frames. So my dad had it rebuilt before it was handed down to me. The engine has brand everything so much to list. Just cause he wanted it to last. Gonna do a lift with big tires after that nothin fancy just keep it in good condition. Really enjoyed the video though gave me lots of great ideas though. I wanna get some extra power but it does rain so much here or ice and slush over so i don't wanna crash lol.

I can speak positively for the bullydog hand helds! My buddy had one on his 07 classic ext cab (L33) and it made that thing run like a top. It would run 130+mph no problem. He also ran a qtp cutout before the factory muffler and it sounded so good just through the cats. You had better get rid of that 10 bolt juuus sayin.

Not sure if you’re aware but your tailgate is messed up from dragging it. When people leave them down and go down the road they can jump out of the hinge and fall off and if you don’t have both cables it will drag off one.

I have a 01 with the “flip kit” on it. Also have a 4/6 drop. The ride totally depends on the kit you buy. DO NOT go cheap. And I found if you use the bed for hauling heaving things like dump runs or in laws new furniture then you will go through shocks a little sooner than normal. But the ride is nice and smooth. I am not disappointed at all.

Hand held tuners like that aren’t great on N/A vehicles unless their modified pretty decently, talking exhaust, intake, TB, heads, definitely cam. But when their Boosted is when they shine that’s why on diesels tuners are so popular on gas vehicles bone stock they’ll add 30hp if that on big turbo diesel vehicles they can add anywhere from 100-200hp with just a click and the truck being stock

Sweet truck, I have the same exact one! I love the front valence but am a bit confused. Is it all one piece that bolts on to the bumper? The part directly below the bumper looks exactly like mine but then you have an extra piece right below that at the bottom that makes it look really cool. Is that extra piece what I would buy, or is it all one unit? I can’t find it on eBay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

braylon dailey they never leaked for me. I just wanted to get rid of the coil pack brackets. Getting new gaskets would definitely help you out.

My 4l60 just took a dump on me...i knew it was before long. Been on stock gears with 35's and havnt been easy on her. Put a custom tune on and 3 weeks later she lost over drive. Now that im getting the trans built ive been tossing the idea of a turbo kit but I'm not sure if the money will be better spent on gears. I do have a 4wd so it is almost the same price as a turbo.

you will continue to throw money at that 4l60 as long as you have it! Putting a turbo on it will not help its life. I would HIGHLY recommend a 4l80 swap before anything. But thats just my opinion... I will bet that you will be rebuilding that 4l60 again!

@@Stan1le if i had a 2wd i probably would. Its a jacked up truck so I'm not trying to make it a rocket, just to make it alittle more fun to drive around. On a stock bottom end engine I would only go 10 maybe 12 psi max. Original trans lasted 16 years @ 106,000. I really wouldn't be mad if it blew up in another 100,000.

That trans does not put up with anything over stock power. The weight of these trucks just burns them up. But like I said before I am simply telling what I have seen, built and heard.

@@Stan1le believe me, i know its not a good transmission. Me and the builder talked about the options. Better bands, clutches, sunshell, gorilla grip torque converter. On a stock truck with a tune should be fine. If i ever do turbo it then il just get it built for more. I cant fuck with it too much now anyways. Its my daily.
