I totally love that you are still using the "Partner Acceptance Rating." It is something people don't think about when they commit to technology...or anything, for that matter!

Making sure the tech you have works for your family is a huge deal for me. What's fun is when they pitch tech to me!

Iyaz, thank you for this! I need to see about replacing my old fans, sadly I have them each in differ rooms. Master bedroom, family room, kids room, and living room (and patio) If line of sight for the bridge to work this would solve our living room and patio which is awesome. The others I may need to pump the brakes, huh? Thank you for getting this on our radars!

I think you can retrofit your fans to make them RF if you're willing to do some wiring. Then you wouldn't need to have line of sight. Glad you got something out of the ep!

Nice. Going to keep this in mind while I'm house shopping. Opens up some options.

What if you have two identical fans that are same model? Will Bond Bridge be able to control them apart?

In my experience, the Bridge is able to handle two different versions of the same model. I've got two ceiling fans that are the same model. As long as you have the original remotes, you should be able to program the Bond Bridge to control two fans without a problem.

I bought this hub a few months ago plugged it in and 3 fans were now controlled by Alexa. BUT I noticed about a month after using it that my WiFi usage went way up. I mean by 100's of GB's. I unplugged the hub and I'm back to normal. Has anyone had this problem? Did I do something wrong?
