Love it, great vid. Best part for me at Finke is when you see the chopper, then the dust in the distance, then hear the first bike or truck come through. Magic!

Thank you, Brent. Interesting footage. How many competitive classes exist for the Finke? There appeared to be quite a variety of vehicle configurations. That red Robinson helicopter makes a lot of sense in a flat part of the world. They tend to be accident prone in alpine situations, which is why I will never ride in one. I have ridden in the old RNZAF UH1D Iroquois helicopters, a couple of Hughes 500s and a Bell Longranger. Much better aircraft.

Cheers for tuning in , there were quite a few different classes , I didn’t get anything to do with the bikes . I was trying to enjoy myself and not spend all my time filming . I don’t know anything about helicopters unfortunately but I did go for a ride in one in one of my last videos 👌🏽👌🏽
