@@lettheflamestakeover7374peace? After having their land stolen and being forced to stay neutral by Russia. Now they are safe now Russia cannot do to Finland what it did to Ukraine and what the Soviet Union did to Finland ever again. Eastern Europe is now getting fully protected from Russia forever finally. Sweden has also just got in and Ukraine will follow. Russia is the one pushing Eastern Europe to NATO not the contrary. Russia and Soviet Union were the ones invading and annexing land from Chechnya, Finland, Georgia and Ukraine as well as mounting facade Russian leaders in nations such as Belarus and purposely sending mass Russian folks to Moldova and Finland to destabilize their governments and create conflicts just like in Ukraine. Russia has been a threat to Eastern Europe long before NATO ever existed. NATO was the best thing Europe ever did. Russia won’t even dare to touch one of its members now thats what I call peace and safety. 40 years ago, when I was living in West Germany, my friends and I were highly skeptical of NATO, mostly because Reagan made such a show of bringing in those Pershing missiles. It was the nuclear brinkmanship we objected to. Now the script has completely flipped. Not only has Putin launched an illegal 20th century-style war of aggression (the reason NATO was created in the first place), but his undisciplined army has committed thousands of war crimes and the wannabe Stalin is now threatening nuclear annihilation with increasing frequency and desperation.
