Finland Vlog: visiting Nuuksio National Park 2021

Spent the day at Nuuksio National Park a while back. Disclaimer: I am not the biggest outdoor/adventure/hiking sort of person - not going to lie. Was a bit concerned about getting lost because I am horrible at navigation but thankfully the paths were all pretty straightforward and the Nuuksio Park website had enough information.
The forests here are very different from anything I am used to in Singapore, where the terrain is alot more "tropical" and "jungle-ish". Not to mention the humidity. I definitely feel much more at ease when I take a walk in Singapore, because the weather is more convenient to manage and you can't really get lost since your phone connection probably still works. But here, it feels more like an adventure that I (personally) have to prepare for, though the returns are more than worth it. The scenary was really wonderful. Would love to come back in the Autumn but with wayyyy more layers.

I think I was supposed to feel calm watching this video, but it was so anxiety inducing. Eating random wild berries and walking like you were in the middle of nowhere (first 2km). Asian me says no. And you can find Daim cakes in IKEA in SG! Super yums!

Yes actually there are so many similarities between the Finnish and Singaporean public transport - both are really convenient but ofcourse cost in Finland is much higher. Im also so happy u like the music ive been finding some really great artists on thematic and soundcloud and just listening to them get me in a good mood

Who supports and the public transportation system in Singapore? Or is just so densely populated area that it is possible to have it financed by so small fares?

@@just42tube transport systems/infrastructure are heavily subsidised by the govt but operators are able to cover most of the costs with fares. @@charlycatcatcatvideos If I have got it right, Singapore is about the size of the Helsinki Capital area, which is Helsinki and some surrounding towns. The challenges of arranging public transportation is very different. Winter gives it some additional challenges in Finland too. Too different situations to compare in any meaningful way. Each municipality and region in Finland is largely independent to make their own decisions at local level. There isn't much possibly for the government of the State to dictate though the main roads, airports and railroads are largely financed from the State budget.

Hi Pei Xian! This is such a late reply but for my watercolours i use the Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolour Paint Set, Sketchers' Pocket Box! It has lasted me a super long time and it's super nice and portable
