I have to say that the sauna in the video is a far cry from the one I used growing up in Northern Minnesota during the 1960's. Ours was just a bit more "rustic"; Built into the corner of an old standalone garage, with bare cement walls, wood stove, and grayed wood benches.

I read an article in the Helsinging Sanomat or Yle or some other news publication of ours and turns out, those are not integrated cutting boards. Because it is so hard to wash them after each use and the cuts you make on them by accident are prime bacterial locations, even if wood itself is generally speaking pretty anti-septic. Their actual intended purpose? Is to roll dough and make bread and other pastries and baked good on them before you bake them! So. Get yourself a separate cutting board and start using those wooden trays for their intended pupose: Baking.

Welcome to the world of entrepreneurs, Alexi! I loved this video! About the keys... here in Brazil, when we move to a new house or apartment we usually call maintenance to exchange the old keys, for safety. Although safety is not an issue in Finland, do you use to change the keys when you move to a different apartment (the keys of the apartment where you’re arriving)?
@AleksiHimself2 жыл бұрын
The old tenant returns the keys which are given to the new owner. That's it!

Why the Finnish people don’t like to use twigs of birch (vihta) in sauna? It’s so much nicer to hit yourself with vihta.
@AleksiHimself2 жыл бұрын
We use them only in Juhannus (midsummer).
@MM-kz9pd2 жыл бұрын
@@AleksiHimself why only in Juhannus..? We pick them up for the entire winter (in most post soviet counties). In our view, sauna experience is incomplete without vihta. Then you can go outside and roll in the snow. So nice. Just a bit surprised that Nordic Finns don’t do it or don’t like sauna this way.

@@AleksiHimself it was just a toxic relationship. That lasted for about 3 years. He really wasn't interested but she always acted like she did . and that made me think it was seriously and i put too much focus into it and it took my focus off from studies and all. And she also were cheating few times , so i got fed up with it and broke it off. Before that I was too attached and didn't want to break up but after i did, soon i realized that's the best decision. I won't blame her actions on all Finnish. Some people are just like that, they treat ldr like a joke. She is the reason why i looked up your channel to learn Finnish. like many many years ago . and i gave up learning after knowing how hard this language is, plus it's not going to be really use full for me.
