Excellent video Brent, way to go! I have to say having worn several cammoflage combat uniforms in both of my careers with the U.S. Army and Estonian Defense Forces Army. What, I found is the design of the, Estonian BDU I was issued in 1995, which was based off of the Swedish and Finnish Zipper pocket Combat uniforms, are overall the Best, most versatile cuts, designs that I have ever worn of any Tactical combat cammoflage uniform. In my Estonian Zipper Pocket Combat tactical uniform, I could fit a Glock 17 pistol entirely in the upper shirt pockets. Same in the,Swedish version, I do not know about the Finnish version. Now having used/ tested this design. What is your feelings of the Finnish design Tactical Combat Uniform?

Somehow I forgot that you hadn't tested this one yet. Really hard to get, mostly because of its cost, but sure worth it. Very effective in the lush green setting... Varusteleka.com are the only guys I know that have this. This pattern lost its trademark (so to speak) protection in September 2016 (I think...) and has been more widely available commercially since. Russian copies are made by supposedly decent local companies, but they don't come out much cheaper than Varusteleka's supply and they say that theirs is the best. Either made in Russia or Estonia in Varusteleka's case. Got money? Choose.

In Finland, and in my native Denmark, the Finnish camouflage is much more effective than the silly Multicam. In the four months of summer here in Greenland, Multicam is better, as it is in Afghanistan, but as we hear up to fight Russians in The Baltic States and Poland, getting the Finnish or even going back to our old M84 would be better.
@mattgent85992 жыл бұрын
You said "going back to our old m84". Is it just your wording, or is Denmark not using m84 as standard issue anymore? I don't read much on the Danish military, but I've always loved the m84 pattern. I've searched for a reliable source of m84 clothing but never had any luck.
