I'm not the biggest fan of Alexander Stubb, but he was elected by the majority of the people and has done a pretty good job during his first year as president. In Finland, the president has very little power in domestic politics (it's the job of the prime minister and the government), but the president leads the foreign politics together with the government, so everything that has to do with foreign affairs we usually send the president. For example the German president has basically no power and no-one outside of Germany even knows who it is.
