Today is Christmas Eve in Canada and we are going to dinner at our son and daughter-in-laws Her family is Finish and so we enjoy both Finish dishes and traditional Canadian dishes. I wanted to thank you again for allowing us into your home and letting us catch glimpses of your family, during the busiest time of the year-and while sick, too! You remind me very much of my Finnish daughter, Mari,who came to us as an exchange student in the 90’s. I am so familiar with your traditions that they made me smile and my daughter and I reminisced! As a matter of fact Mari saw your @Kettuknits and commented that you must be Finnish as it means Fox! So thanks again for making me feel like I’ve made another Finnish friend. It’s great the kids don’t want much, best to start out that way or it just gets worse as they get older and expect really expensive things thinking it’s all about stuff. I remind them why we celebrate Christmas but it doesn’t change them. 😪 I’ve really enjoyed your Vlogmas this year, it was lovely of you to share Laimas arrival and how she settled in.
