I love how you make even the most difficult topics feel so approachable. It’s a reminder that growth comes from taking it one step at a time.

Continuation to previous question: are financial stocks a value trap ? also finance ministry has called a meeting of MFIs, to discuss micro finance space. And there have been rising defaults of unsecured personal loan in hdfc and kotak. And i read that “in big bank space - the reduction in NPA metrics is all due to denominator expansion only. Bad loans on absolute basis keep increasing. Q2)A avg investor whose complete portfolio is 1 or 2 lakhs. How could he do what VC’s do, assuming vc’s need sizeable investment amount.

This time last year I considered crypto without much knowledge and decided to have a consultation with a fiduciary, and it was incredibly insightful. I got into the market with 15k, One year and a couple of months in, and I'm up with 750k. I truly cannot stress enough how helpful experts in this field are!

I've got a question that I really want to ask. It's a pretty big deal, but I feel like you're the best person to talk to about it. I have a question about the skills and certifications needed to earn an annual salary of 8 lakhs ( just an hypothetical figure). What technical and financial competencies should a candidate possess to justify this level of compensation? For example, while a CFA Level 1 certification is valuable, lacking practical experience may not be enough for a higher salary. What qualifications or skill combinations are essential for securing a package of 8 lakhs?

hi sir, I have started my investing journey fairly recently and i want to expand my knowledge in finance. Since finance is a very vast field, it can be a little overwhelming to process this niche. Can you please tell me any path/roadmap that i can follow or how did you initially start and learn things in this field. Thank you in advance!

Hello Sir It has always been said that analysing the Statements of Banks is different of analysis any other businesses. Can you talk a little as to what metrics we can look at while analysing banks with the example of a Not Big Bank [Example: IDFC First Bank maybe?]

Do you believe that, in today's information age, large fund houses and institutional players have an "information edge" over retail investors? Many of them have access to tools like Bloomberg Terminal and other costly paid services, which are often beyond the reach of most individual investors. If not, then why are they willing to pay such high subscription fees? And how can we close this information gap?

Hey everyone, i want a advice from you guys , last year i passed my 12th with commerce ( without maths) after that i give cuet my score my score was not that good i get a good college so rather studying in a tier 3 college and wasting money on college i thought of not going to a college and taken a dummy addmission in a college of my city only for degree and wouldn prepare for CAT ,but later i realised that only top 10 b school are worth it(in my opinion) and getting into them is very difficult even after getting 99percentile in the interview round i would be rejected bcoz i dont have any academic achievement and my ug degree is also waste. So i keep searching other courses and got to know about cfa which i feel is interesting and to check my interest in finance i also give nism 8 and enjoyed studying it But the problem is that i don't no from where to start Cfa, would cfa only with a tier 3 college degree will give me a good job and is only CFA is worthy in India.. Please some one help me i now that the comment is to big with weak english but if someone has any guidance for me please guide me ..

Thank you and your yt videos were of great help especially for villagers like me who don't have access to physical classes

TLDR: CFA L2 candidate wondering to stay in same company or leave now, focus on exams and then look for better role Hello sir, I am currently a CFA L2 candidate (May 2025) and am working as a finance intern in a non-financial services company. The internship will end by March end but I am sure I'll get a full time offer. I don't see a lot of learning and growth opportunities in the company, and some of the given work is accounting and taxation, which I don't want to soo. Option 1: I complete my internship (March), study for exams (May) and then look for a decent role. Option 2: I stay in my current company and look for decent roles after exams to avoid gap. Please advice. Also, this is my first work experience and I graduated in 2023. Thank you!

Sir, after completing cfa level 3, can we do something on our own instead of working for corporates. If possible, Can you please give some guidance on those areas, so that we can focus on them from level 1 itself.

Hello Sir, I have completed my MBA in finance from Indira School of Business Studies in Pune (a tier 3 college) grad in BA economics. I made a detailed research report on Tata Motors and was fortunate enough to get a job in sell side equity research in Mumbai through my work. I am planning to write CFA L1 in November 2025. I know how the field of equity research works. I have developed skills like research, financial modelling, statements analysis on a basic to intermediate level. I also follow a lot of fund managers and investors, and watch their videos and read memos and books to develop a mindset of a good investor and and stock picker. I want to be a research head at a good buy side firm or maybe start my own fund 10-15 years down the line and also make money from stocks for myself. What roadmap would you suggest me to achieve the goal further from my level? Is this goal even achieveable in the next 10-15 years? Also what sector should I choose to specialise? (currently I track automobiles)

hii sir, cleared my cfa l1 attempt, currently I have one offer from Morningstar as an MDP Associate, but I think I am getting underpaid as they're offering 4lpa I have 1yr of exp as eq dealer with ctc of 3lpa. but the main advantage is they are offering reimbursement for cfa l2&l3 your views on this role & should I take it or look for better opportunities, also what will be the range that looks fairly paid as I cleared my L1
