Would love to know your asset allocation, as in, how much of your total invested capital goes into: A. Asset classes bifurcation as a percentage into equity, debt, gold, real estate, crypto, and any other B. Equity bifurcation as a percentage into individual stocks, indian and foreign stocks, mutual funds (SIPs and lumpsums) C. If you do SIPs, have you always kept SIPs on or do you believe that you can always beat the market with your level of research and knowledge?

BFM graduate (May ‘23) Cleared L1 in May ‘23 and appearing for L2 in two weeks Have had around 15 months of experience into derivatives, mainly delta hedging at a prop office in Mumbai. But quit in June ‘24 (one day before the 4th June crash :p), to prepare for L2 and also as I thought that derivatives isn’t for me as a long term career Now getting an opportunity to enter into investment banking, through contacts, but I am unaware if I should directly join them or take up a research role. Main goal is investment banking but don’t want to look blank while starting the job.

Hi sir, Im currently doing my CFA L1 and i want to become an entrepreneur. And the reason I took CFA is because I like finance and in the future i want to start something on my own in finance. But the question I have for you is finance is a very hard niche to start a business on, so do you have any recommendation of the type of business which is relatively easier to start and what are some of the jobs i should opt for to increase my skillset to start my entrepreneurship journey.

Hi, thank you for answering my dubai related question. A follow up on the same. L3 Cleared from mumbai 2 years of work ex. I am getting a sell side equity research role in crisil mumbai as well. Pay is --- DON'T SAY IT OUT LOUD --(15LPA)---. And this dubai offer as a research analyst where its Equity, bonds and commodities research and help clients manage trades as well ( stop loss and all)--(8k Aed). Which one should i take up?

Regarding fintree placement, Sometimes we receive jobs in which the description doesn't tell much about the role or salary so in that case if we go ahead and later due to lower than expected salary we reject the offer, would this refrain us from receiving future offers.

Hi, I am in a non-finance Job(Aviation), have been investing in public markets since 2019. I have cleared my CFA Level 2. Would be appearing for level 3 in August. Are there any remote finance jobs (particularly equity research )available which could help me complete my "no. of hours" experience for getting the Charter and also learning in General. Money or Salary or Stipend is not a factor. I just want to learn.

I'm a Graduate, preparing for May 25 CFA level 1, have completed 4 Subjects - Quants ,CI , Equity and Derivatives. Sometimes I feel like I'm forgetting Formulas and equations required. Any Advice for help.? Thank You

Happens with all of us, my suggestion will be make some summary notes or refer to sir's juice notes and once you complete 10 subjects. You will need to go through the notes 2-3 times and solve 1000+ questions to remember everything before the exams.
