I remember thinking ummm what the heck am I listening to when I first heard her 4th album. I instantly fell in love with her first three albums. But her 4th album took some time to grow on me. It was so unusual and very different then her previous albums. I then took a lot of appreciation for the Idler Wheel album. I felt like the album was all her making different unique beats and sounds in each track off the album. There were people who hated it and loved it. I on the other hand started to not really like it and then loved it. The album is very underrated and strange but love her unusual style on the album and a very cool voice.

same! it took me quite a lot of time to properly enjoy all the tracks of the idler wheel and now it's hands down one of the best album I've ever heard in my life.

This is the healthiest she's appeared since the mid-2000s I think. She looked ill at the time of her last album's release-gaunt and pale. It was worrisome.
