A medida que fue creciendo se hizo más exquisita, dotó a sus personajes de vida. En éste caso, la prefiero en la versión con Freni en La Scalla. Grande Fiorenza!

She cannot be blamed for a woofy tone that is so common now by artificial darkening of the voice. She’s got focus and projection even if her timbre is not a favourite of mine.

Both great signers, but Cossotto has nothing like the Obraztsova's chest voice.

Not quite! I love Cossotto, but Obraztsova was in a class of her own. In my humble opinion, no one can be compared to Obraztsova. She was the greatest mezzo of the 20th Century!
