Thanks for the tips! So far the lore and just exploring the game world is awesome. I've gotten stuck a few times, trying to play it like DS1 or Elden Ring, but eventually my mind just clicked with the jank and lack of i-frames. Jumped into the water in one area and was surprised I didn't die... right away, that is 😱😭

Thanks for this. I am enjoying the game immensely for the most part. But I seemed to have stumbled into a mini boss than makes pillars fly out of the ground and certain attacks he does are seemingly impossible to avoid. I am an experienced soulslike gamer having beat all the Dark Souls games as well as Bloodborne but I cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to do with this guy... It also doesn't help that the respawn point is 9 thousand miles away from him....

nice video! im strugeling with controller because i cant keybind all i want. sometimes dosent register when i want to set some, like the modifier keybind. Anyways i saw the moveset you have with the first boss weapon, and is really different from what im doing, it have been change? i dont have any up attack when doing the combos correctly

Hey mate! Glad you are enjoying the game. Go with the "Commonly Used" preset. Some of the animations were changed due to the controversy that plagued the game early-on. Let me know if you need any additional help.

@Mista FiOth thanks for the reply. The issue is when i go with any preset some buttons dosent work. Like the jumping. So i have to keybind it again. Il try again later to see if it works

Start off from one preset and change what you don't like. If you do it the other way around, the preset will change all your buttons to their default values.

Thanks for the explanations really needed them. I have a problem where my aim for the secondary weapons like staff and bow is dead centered on my character and I cannot move it or see through the character to aim. Is it a but or I pressed the wrong button on my pc keyboard?

I can't say without knowing your bindings, my friend. The aiming can be a bit iffy, but shots should land where you aim. Remember, there is also a bit of travel time involved.

what the skull icon means? it appears when you check the gear. it is under the axe and hammer icons. it is not self explanatory as thew vid suggest

Just noticed this question. The little Skull is the Technomacy factor - the (let's say) Energy DMG. For Weapons, it's how much DMG it'll do. For Shields, it's the amount they will block. Hope this helps!

Man, the ongoing issue with those purchased assets is not something we can have an opinion about. We don't know all the details. From what they've said, they will use another library altogether and skip the initial ones entirely. Don't void the effort put in here for one accusation.

They bought animations legally from Epic store and in this situation Epic is liable for this. Plus I would rather support Bleak Faith, since it's just 3 dudes putting together something unique and interesting unlike FromSoftware that reuses assets and slaps new textures over same game for a decade now.

Some random dude’s inability to cope with someone else's opinion on the internet and dropping words like ‘schizo’ or using classical From Soft’s fanboy ‘git gud and actually play the game’. If you actually spent some time getting good and playing other souls games this ‘reused assets’ dilemma wouldn’t be something new for you. Also reusing assets is normal for big companies with successful titles. FYI I like a great deal Elden Ring and still think of it as an amazing game with a beautiful world, level design and lore.
