not really a fail lmao. it works and does its job. the installer likely ran out of RSS’s and just threw that up

What happened there is that they made the Wheelock AS do strobe only by removing the volume jumper because the technicians that installed the system likely ran out of Wheelock RSS strobes so they used this instead as this is not a fail because it's in an area where a strobe only can be used like in a bathroom, FACP room (the panel piezo is the audible signal), or really small space.

They don't have a code 3 chime at the GRR airport. It's a simple message. It went off when I was there from a faulty sensor. But what's weird was it was exclusively ceiling mounts, and none were directly fire alarms. All said alert. I almost never go to the airport, but if I do, I'll show it off along with the original video I took. Looked like an EST system, but I saw no pull stations.

This is not the Wheelock voice evac in like the SafePath system, this is Notifier voice evac with Wheelock speaker strobes

Yeah I don't really even like voice systems much anymore compared to the old horn strobes they just sound corny to me and no one takes them seriously.

There are people that ignore fihorn strobes as well. I saw a video once where the alarms were going off in a residence hall and they were Whellock 7002Ts. He walks around for a bit and then he goes either into his room or the lounge and proceeds to watch Wheel Of Fortine on the Tv.
