Freaking beautiful drive, I love the views driving in your province!

Surprisingly, the system out there isn't too too old but that school totally screams 1960's all over. Also check out that emergency light(the one with the woodgrain housing) that's definitely as old as the school...surprised they haven't replaced that; My high school back in the mid 90's had those exact units and they were all replaced just before I graduated due to their age. As for those oil tanks out back, I bet at least one of those supplies the diesel for the generator. Love the generator building it's almost exactly like yours but bigger. As for the trip out there; that's one ""far out" school man...super far out.

we dont replace them unless they fail testing we do often and even then its normally just a new battery and maybe a few light heads

32:15 - Why did it make a little buzzing sound when you hit the button?
@harrythompson5634 Жыл бұрын
I'm curious about this too, I'm not too familiar with emergency lights. But the button he hit was the test button. And the buzzing, I don't know if I had to guess it could be a relay switching on and off really fast because it can't keep it self powered. The only issue with that is I don't remember seeing a relay in those things but again I don't usually mess with them so the relay may be hidden. And also they changed the battery in it near the end of the video which solved it.

that RFID door should be swapped to a magnetic lock. that would work better than their stupid latch they have lol
@nics-systems-electric Жыл бұрын
it would be dangerous we don't use magnetic locks since they can't really be incorporated exit hardware and when they lose power it's then unlocked electric strikes used with door hardware are safest for egress and most secure from the outside if it's installed correctly
