Sound Affects their finest moment. It’s the point they had honed their sound to perfection and felt comfortable pushing it to its absolute limit…Rick’s drumming is phenomenal. Dream Time is my favourite Jam track…it’s literally like listening to a musical panic attack.

You've got great Anglophile taste 😊 I'm 60 and grew up with these bands. I think with That's Entertainment there's actually a bit more venom and sarcasm as in This is what the working classes are given to keep them quiet. Manic Street Preachers captured the same sentiment with Design for Life. Keep em coming. Have you covered Aztec Camera or Talk Talk? There are plenty of great Scottish bands from this era to adore.

I just discovered your channel and I really enjoy it. Could you do one on Gang of Four? Cheers!

I grew up with the Jam,(I'm English) That's Entertainment I remember reading that Paul wrote it when he was on holiday ,south coast of England ,in a caravan ,if this is true I cannot say ,also no disrespect to the Rickenbacker company, but Paul got so annoyed at one point (..it was a 330 FG, I have two RICs and they are gorgeous)it kept going out of tune and he threw it at the studio wall ,again I am only saying what I read many years ago, they were such a tight band, saw them 5 times, saw Paul 2 times when he was solo ,on their farewell tour I saw them (I think it was second to last consert) in Manchester UK ,and Paul actually fell over !,backwards but continued to play guitar (maybe a beer or two too much John LOL)..that was by the way the first date with girlfriend ,now wife ,still my wife :)
