This was when the game really hit its stride for me. This song ABSOLUTELY sells that you're going to war. A strong advance into enemy territories, larger deployment numbers, splitting up your units into different squads across the larger maps. Best moment I've had in fire emblem period

Playing through the Sacae route, I felt like it was supposed to capture the fierce nature of the Sacae nomads, instead of trying to fit the environment.

I think it fits both very well, it's the might of nature, either the endless plains or neverending snow. Either way, you're entering very hostile territory, and the music represents that very well.

I haven’t played the Ilia route before, but I heavily associate the repetition from 0:18 to 1:02 to the rolling, seemingly endless hills of the Sacaen plains.

play on hard mode and you will find out why its really hard lol it is pretty fun though (make sure you have a melady with delphi shield)

Most of the complaints about how hard it is come from Hard Mode players, where enemies receive a significant boost to their stats. Nomads are also pretty annoying to fight against, being bow users.
