Out of the 7 units you can pick in the final chapter, I already decided the 3 pegasus' sisters cause I wanted to triple triangle attack the dragon. Priscilla (4/7) I already knew would have highest move out of the staff/magic user's, the 8 move is just too good. I wanted a S-rank bow user in my team, and as well as a Paladin. Rebecca is the only bow user who can support with any Paladins, so I went with her and Sain (6/7). The last spot I wanted another staff/magic user. I just decided to use Serra, since by the time she's at max level, I don't have to worry about her staff rank since I needed her to be able to use warp staff (7/7). Looking at it now, its kinda funny especially with Sain's dialogue, but yes it's more on the optimal team I wanted to use.

That's cool! For that specific niche you were going for of a bow user + a paladin, that's interesting that sain and rebecca are the only possible combination for that. I've replayed fe7 like 15 or so times cause it's my favorite game, but I may use this team composition next time I do a run through the game. Cool video!

​@@rydenhope3602 just a clarification, Rebecca is the only bow user that can support with any paladins (basically between Lowen and Sain - I just chose Sain cause i need more damage, Lowen can struggle to cap his Str) but Geitz (Bow-Axe user) can also Support with Isadora (Paladin) but they join kinda late in the game so they're out of the question for me haha

@@alfredxsiv its fun if you like FE7. It's quite hard and requires you to end pretty fast and grab only what you need. Also you'll have a bunch of unpromoted units running around while using your core team.

Dang, I remember also doing a triangle attack on dragon but only one of them did it and others did a normal attack, is it because I already used the triangle attack before? I also can't remember if I was playing a rebalanced romhack of fe7 that time so that might be the reason too.

You can still triangle attack even if you already did it before, the only difference is that there will be no text/dialogue for it if the character already did the triangle attack before So maybe it had something to do with the romhack, since as far as i know fe6 and fe7 romhacks are prone to bugs, hence romhackers recommends the fe8 rom for beginner romhacks.

Thank you for this, i was actually trying to find strats in YT that i could incorporate for final chapters, but all i could find were casual playthroughs. (though some aspects of it i can't use, since i really want to triple triangle attack the dragon) i'll try and see if i can bump it down to 2 turns
