I actually made Kaze marry Nyx the first time I played Conquest, partially because she can get Vantage and Vengeance (provided Kaze passes the former). Midori did better than I expected; even with a 48% magic growth, she still got an extra point in magic 8 out of 9 level-ups as a Dark Mage before I promoted her. On a side note, I personally would prioritize Elise's husbands' as follows: Odin -> Jakob -> Kaze -> Niles -> anyone else she can S-support with.

A little correction. Elise can't marry any Hoshido character aside from Hoshidian royals. She can't be the mother of Mitama and Rhajat. Her best Husbando choice is Odin.

Little fun fact, but Elise was kinda my go to character for one of the most insane strategies I ever pulled in Conquest Lunatic's Ice tribe chapter, see, I wanted to get 3 towns because if I got less, the amount of enemies became too overwhelming. And my strategy was to charge Elise to the far left town and take it as the 3rd town, due to how many magic units are over that way, it was really awesome to finally pull off correctly with no casualties

One interesting thing I'd like to point out about Elise design is that there are strips of purple in her hair, most noticeable in the "cinnamon roll" part. This is explained to be more like Camilla since not only does she look up to her, but feels inferior to her because of how dissimilar they are in appearance. I found that to be a really cool little piece of her design that ties into her relationship with one of her siblings!

It's hard to believe that she's one of the least hated characters in Fates and that's saying something. The people that dislike her tend to forget everyone else exists. Even though she's a Loli, I doubt Corrin is much older than her. Corrin seems to be somewhat of a kid since they are treated like one more than Elise. Besides, the fandom complains that Corrin is too whiny, immature, and naive. The second generation characters weren't implemented well back in Awakening, it's just that it's more noticeable in this game. In a no grind Conquest run, you aren't going to marry off Elise anyway. Fates deserved better writing. At least Conquest had the best gameplay of the three even though Pair Up was a tricky mechanic to implement. I grabbed all three Fates games for old times sake, but I'll likely end up playing with Echoes first since I want to use Luthier again. He's my bro. 💪

But that was on a randomizer and so those stats are due to the fact your need to promote her twice on a standard game allowing her to have higher stats than most other units just like with Ross and Ewan. Therefore it should be expected that unless Amelia is an adventurer, pupil or recruit that when she promotes to an advanced class that her stats are good. Not only that she is one of two characters (other being Gilliam) that in the main game can be generals as the rest are in the creature campaign. Also does that mean if there was a character that was quite lot of people were asking for e.g Donnel but if Mangs didn't like him then he wouldn't do one on that character?

+Hyperdude of Epicness Ross is actually average too. The only good part about him is his Strength. He won't cap anything else alone without RNG luck or stat boosts. HP could even stay in the 40s, he's slow, and defenses are nothing special. Just good Str and Luck. I always use him though, Berserker is great. Ewan always does well though. The extra levels offset his growths much better than the other two. Best Luck stat out of the three and is fast as well. Will usually cap a few stats.

Have to argue with the strength unit thing, because Elise is actually an amazing mother for Velouria. Her growths counteract where Keaton lacks and makes Velour a good character for tanking hits when you want to bait enemies. Same goes for Camilla!Eponine, though she'll always do better taking magical hits then physical hits anyway.

Honestly elise for me personally was like a serra situation. At first i complexly despise her (and in the main story i still kinda do) but her supports really give her some character. If she wasn't a royal she might be more liked by people in general.
