Gregor (グレゴ Gurego, Grego in the Japanese version) is a playable character in Fire Emblem Awakening. He is voiced by Kenji Hamada in the Japanese version and by George C. Cole in the English version.

I think what makes him look not-so-smart at first glance is simply his lack of fluency in the Ylissean common language. When you pay attention to what he says instead of how he says it, it becomes obvious he's actually quite intelligent.

Good Guy Resty Ogma's are typically amazing units in every game. To be honest Gregor is honestly one of the worst Ogmas. The OG Ogma however particularly in FE12 is insane however

Totally unrelated but, seing the crits at the beggining made me think on how boring most of the crit animations tend to be on Awakening and Fates. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE the crit quotes, they give characters a lot more personality, but some animations are just plain...boring. The best crits in my opinion (animation-wise) are in the GBA games, and i think it's because the crits needed to be as flashy as possible because of hardware limitation. Now we have flashy sounds but not so fun animations as before, with shaking screen and all. Now, i'm forgetting the sorcerer crit animation in Fates, that's animation is sexy as hell

I remember when the first screenshots with Gregor's English dialogue came out, and some loud people decided that they'd localised him as a Gonzales character and got very upset. Once again proving that the Fire Emblem community is absolutely the worst. /s Also in retrospect it's pretty extraordinary to think that a character with a 50% Speed growth was considered to have a Speed weakness

I loved Gregor from the first time I saw him. xD I loved how strong and sturdy he was and he had great supports. I will never forget his C support with the avatar. Regardless of your Robin being male or female, it is great. If only he could have been a gay option in Awakening. xD I didn't even care for the whole marrying and children mechanic until I met him. As a Character he is my favorit in the game. as a Unit in Combat I prefer Nowi and my 2 wonderful mas murdering dragon daugthers. It would probably not as easy on Lunatic but on Hard they detsroy legions with getting a few scratches at most. Not that Gregor is not worth Croms money he does a good Job.

Gregor was always a character I thought was humorous but I rarely used him as by that point I would typically be heavily invested in Donnel and I try not to have repeat classes. I can see he’s an immediate solid choice similar to Libra in that regard.

Some of the names in this series seemed to be pronounced differently by different people, for example Tharja, I always said Thar•ja but hearing you say Thar•ya kind of makes more sense, another example is Cherche, I always pronounced her as Shur•Shay not sure if that's the correct pronunciation or not but I've heard her name be pronounced differently by others...
