To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Berserk. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of medieval history most of the jokes will go over a typical reader's head. There's also Guts' nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Aeschylus' literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Berserk truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Guts' existential catchphrase "CLANG!" which itself is a cryptic reference to the Saxon epic Beowulf. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kentaro Miura's genius unfolds itself on their computer screens (but please support the official release). What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a brand of sacrifice. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Nice video on best FE girl, Mangs. I expected to see more of her niches over Illios, though. Like joining eight chapters before him, letting her participate in Tahra (one of the few battle-heavy parts of the game), sniping Ballista with Bolting due to generally having enough Magic to oneshot them without a crit, and later doing the same to the pesky Freegean Armorknights in Xavier's chapter (potentially saving some staff uses and frustration).

Olwen was my first 5 star and is easily my favorite and strongest unit. Even if it isn't optimal, I still use her as a offensive death blow unit. pretty much all she doesn't kill are pegasus knights, green mages and *glares* hector

I like the review at the end, it is great as it reflects your opinion incredibly well like the ending paragraph in a well written essay. Here is my challenge for you now I would love to see a spotlight where its a character you do not particularly care for, I am curious how you and your fans would react to that. Hey Mangs. Since your character spotlight series has change overtime, why not revisit some of your older character spotlight videos? Give them the same treatment like you did to Olwen. How useful can they be in both their original game and Heroes, design, character, utility, ratings in all 3 areas. All that jazz. It might take some time do them but so far, I really like your spotlight videos. I hope to see more of that in the future.

Obligatory quibbles: It's "PCC" not "PPC"; pretty sure Olwen dies on the A route if you get Kempf to attack her, which is why you can recruit Eyrios, and that's what the text is implying; her stats aren't especially low when considering Thracia caps, bar HP; it's fine to state your views but for the love of god don't start giving characters star ratings for subjective qualities like character and design, that's a can of worms that shouldn't be opened; it's not at all hard to capture Reinhardt in Thracia as you should have at least one Sleep, Sleep Sword or Blizzard user available; Reinhardt was the one trying to convince Olwen to come back to the Gelbenritter (hereafter Yellow Brigade) in their conversation iirc, I don't think Olwen ever tried to convince him to switch like Camus, and even then Reinhardt seemed almost entirely incapable of understanding even why she would switch sides to begin with; also I think that Olwen is implied to actually be from Freege along with Reinhardt, as the game implies that the Yellow Brigade was brought over from Freege to quell the unrest rather than their being from there originally, hence why she's not all that up to speed with what's going on in the Manster district On another topic entirely, I do find it weird how everybody in the Imperial Army seems to be a General despite their being different ranks - General Largo is about the same rank as General Olwen, Olwen is subordinate to General Kempf, who is subordinate to General Nicarf, who is subordinate to Count Gustav... I guess. General Reinhardt at least seems to be directly under Princess Ishtar's command, but then he's depicted more her bodyguard than a military subordinate. General Ovo and General Muhammad seem to be the top military commanders for the household cavalry and infantry divisions of the Northern Thracian army, respectively, but it's unclear where all the others fit in underneath them. I'd guess that Reinhardt isn't technically their subordinate since he reports directly to Ishtar, but all the others are. In any case, it'd be nice if any potential remake branched out a bit with the generic military ranks...

Yeah, it's basically implied that Olwen kills her brother, since the Blessed Sword was almost deliberately designed to kill him. Brave Rapier? Check. Res +10 to help survive against Dire Thunder? Check. Miracle skill? (In Thracia, this means: When critically damaged, become untouchable) Check.

Olwen can actually be really good with Dire Thunder. With a speed and attack boosting a slot, a hone cavalry boost, +atk iv, and luna she will perform similarly to reinhardt in most cases, only having 6 less attack, but she'll also be able to kill many moderately bulky greens like hector that reinhardt fails to (in desperation range of course). She needs way more support to be able to perform on a similar level and having a hone cavalry boost and being in desperation range is arguably as situational as reinhardt having luna charged, but she still doesn't get enough credit. Belongs in S on the tier list imo.
