I have NEVER heard a song with such a unique time signature in a game, at first I thought it was an error on my game card until I found that it’s deliberately 7/8 time. I already love the song but the time makes it so much more fascinating!!

You may want to check more videogames then, loads of orchestral music in games is written in odd time signatures. Go check the Nargacuga theme from Monster Hunter World and try to count the time signature for the first section of the track or Tigrex's theme from the same game.

Sorry for replying to a comment from over a year ago.(from Japan) Only the first 4th and 8th bars of this BGM are in 5/4 time, which is thought to be modeled after "The Curse of Judas" that appears in the story. This is evidenced by the fact that the same time signature is not used in subsequent measures, and by the tragic fate of those who tried to say the number after ”4...8...” in the piece.

three houses has some crazy time signatures in that one hype ashen wolves theme variant, it has a 4-measure pattern at one point that goes 4/4, 7/8, 7/8, 6/8 and its amazing

A shame Engage is the literal worst Fire Emblem game in the franchise but at least some of the music is decent enough.

Shadow dragon is absolute cheeks even remastered and 6 has some of the worst balancing and story pacing of any game. Not to mention how goofy the original Gaiden was. It's not the worst by any stretch, objectively speaking
