The fact that this was the first fire emblem game to feature same sex options for S rank, and Soleil was not one of those options just seems mind boggling to me. She certainly seems to have a more justifiable reason then Rhajat for why she would be open to a S rank support with another female character, if her only option for a same sex S support was with a female Corrin. I know Nintendo is making small steady steps, but this character just seems to be a few games too early for the narrative constraints in place. Then again I suppose the fates kids could always follow in their parents foot steps and join in some other far off adventure in a distant land.

So I don't really ship this, but I know someone's opinion of the Internet is not going to change anyone's opinion if they do ship it and they shouldn't let anybody do that. If you ship it that's fine by me, but this support kind of disappointmented me on how Soleil treated Ophelia like that especially since it crossed the border on sexual harassment at the beginning but a least did apologize. However in my opinion I don't really think Ophelia or Soleil are gay (or at least the lateral) because they can S-rank with guys and no girls. However I like to think that Soleil is bi-sexual, not just gay or straight but both since there are several ways people like to associate their sexuality I think that description fits Soleil perfectly. She likes to hit on girls, thinks they are cute, and loves getting into their personal space from what we can see in this support but still can marry or date a boy. So that's just my opinion from what I interpret from her supports.

Pity cause the localisation did try in some areas to fix her more creepy tendencies (she has an entirely new Foleo/Forrest support cause the original was so bad) and in other places just ignored them.
