CGrascal I actually like this one, because it is a genuinely tender moment between them, instead of soleil acting like a creepy stalker. I don't mind stalkers, heck I like Tharja and Rhajat, I just think this one makes more sense because it gives Forrest a more sensible reason for liking her. Although I understand why people were upset. I would've also liked to see the original as well. I think it would be genuinely hilarious to see Soleil say "You're a man? show me your dick to prove it then!" However I also think that would make Soleil look like a jerk. Which in turn would make me wonder why that would end up leading to them falling in love. All in all I like the change because this conversation seems a lot more plausible love wise.

If this doesn't confirm Soleil to be Bisexual, then I don't know what will. I hear stupid "Corrections" that she's attracted to girls, but not in *that* way. That it's based on a niche following in Japan. I call bullshit on all of it! If Nintendo wanted her to have it more of an Hobby-esque interest, than they would've explained it in some fashion. Constantly leading people on that she's gay in some way, yet say that she's not actually gay is stupid, contradictory and confusing as hell. There is no arguing this fact. Guess I'd best clarify, in the NA/EU translation, Soleil was changed to be 100% bisexual, aside from supports (they wouldn't go that far). In the Japanese (original) version of the game, she did have that strange "into cute-girls but not lesbian" trend which was a major character trope.

XTheBlackSoulX No, I did. It's just that there was too many things contradicting one another that it was muddying the character's entire premise. As for the Japanese trope. It might be true in the Japanese version, but I've seen people try to go against what was implied in the NA/EU version. That's why it was confusing. It was the misinformation that I was getting so riled about. Thanks for clearing it up for me. :)

This is actually something that makes me legit annoyed with the translators. I'm perfectly okay with a character being bisexual but for god's sake, don't change a character's ENTIRE personality to adjust to your whims. The S-Support conversations with Soleil primarily turned from heartfelt confessions to moronic friendzoning and them blushing while going "I just want to like, hang out with you and stuff!" I don't understand how they came up with the conclusion that anybody would be happy with it.

Soleil is.... well it is uncertain whether she is les or bi, or even straight and just loves cute girls as a hobby, but it is known for certain that the only reason why she is able to fall in love with Forrest is specifically because of his feminine appearance.
